What the hell is happening why did she collapse. Rico get the car call an ambulance something NOW! Rico came in and yelled car is out front grab her we need to get her home now you two are more vulnerable right now! So I grabbed my Luna Queen and got her in the suv so we could head home. We were driving when she randomly sat up vomited and passed back out.

"Rico start mind-linking the doctor to come to the mansion she just vomited and passed back out again something is wrong!" I mind linked him as he drove as fast as he could. "Yes sir already on ot don't worry the Luna will be okay, we will figure out what's wrong and fix it" he replied fast already handling the doctor.

Rico is the best beta any Alpha King could ask for always ahead of everything including me at times. His mate Maria will surely make a great friend to the Luna as she's a nurse for new mothers and newborn pups. So Maria will be there every step of the way. They are both well respected members of the pack and kingdom.

We arrive at the castle at the same time the doctor and the nurse did I carried her to her room and layed her on the bed and allowed them to get to work. About an hour later the doctor comes in the hallway to let me know what's happening with Crystal.

"My King we should talk, your future Luna appears to be struggling with developing the fetus because she doesn't have her wolf fully. However my King her wolf is also getting ready to surface she passed out because it's taking a toll on her. Let her rest be sure to have someone nearby in case she wakes midshift. Always check on her frequently and be sure she gets plenty of fluids during her waking spells." The doctor informed me.

Doctor thank you and I shall ensure she has all she needs at all times. And in the meantime I shall reach the Elder for any advice as well. The doctor dismissed himself however Maria offered for her and Rico to stay in a guest room so she can be close to keep an eye on Crystal at all times. Yes that would be amazing as I must get back to paperwork and business for all the upcoming events can you tell Rico to meet me in my office in an hour.

I went back into the room to sit with Crystal as I lay one hand on hers and the other on the belly to feel my growing pup. I kissed my love and told her to hang in there you are so much stronger and will get through this. After I kissed her forehead I left to my office to have my meeting with the Elder Trey. However, just as I opened the door there he was, he wanted to see the Luna Queen for himself.

"King Leon how is our patient she seems so lifeless. That is soon to change I am willing to speed up her recovery and pause the pregnancy by a couple days so she can shift gain some strength for the ceremony and unification ritual before resuming the pregnancy." "Would you be open to a week pause so you both can be at your strongest ?" He asked and I replied with "Yes sir if you honestly believe it will save them both and prevent any further complications" "I Do" he replied.

After our conversation I allowed him to perform the ritual. However it took a couple days of preparations and sleepless nights watching Crystal. After many long days without hearing Crystal's voice and being able to look in her eyes I was beginning to slip into despair without anyone noticing. I tried to focus on work and the pack but how could I when the love of my life was suffering. I told Drake and his mate as well as Val and her mate the events that has happened and they are on there way to Stat for a couple days for the ceremony and her shift. ​

Crystals PoV:

While being unconscious I was getting more acquainted with my wolf Gemara who was beautiful she was ghostly though in the sense that she had the ability to be transparent on untouchable like a ghost in bright whiteish blue light to also being physical whiteish blue with pure silver eyes that glowed. We were talking near this large swimming hole and waterfall just like in my dream.

Every so often I would hear conversations and Leons voice. I heard what him and the Elder were discussing I just hope it works cause I want to be strong enough to carry this pup and be Luna Queen to Leon. My wolf informed me of what they were doing and I agreed as I also told her we will be fully united in a day or so and to let them pause the pregnancy for a week or so and then reassured her the pup wasn't going anywhere it will still be there just on pause.

However, there are also many threats so paused is necessary and I will also try to have it paused longer once I wake until all major threats have been dealt with because I have the feeling we are just getting a taste of what's to come. She agreed reluctantly but still agreed because many may be in danger and this is no time for a pup to distract and cause someone to get hurt.

After we finished our convo the Elders ritual was beginning to take affect and I was able to finally open my eyes fully. When I did Trey the Elder was first to speak "Hello Luna you must be confused rest assure everything will be..." before he could finish I instantly jumped the gun showing my wolf eyes screaming "THIS PREGNANCY MUST BE PAUSED LONGER THE THREATS HAVE TO BE DEALT WITH PLEASE PLEASE LISTEN TO ME PAUSE IT FOR 6 MONTHS PLEASE THERE ARE DANGERS LURKING" Leon instantly jumped at my side love what are you talking about?

Leon trust me Samantha and others involved are just getting started this is no time for this pup it has to be paused until we can stop them we will not be safe especially me and the pup I will need to not worry about endangering the pup during the impending attacks. With that the Elder spoke " You are very certain about this and absolutely correct so I will grant your request and I will extend the pause for 1 year."

Thank you Elder Trey this is important for the kingdom and the pup Leon and I said at the same time. Even though Leon looked confused "How did you know?" Well I was in and out of it listening when I could plus my wolf told me, tonight when the moon is at peak I will shift. I know the beginning of the shift I will be alone then you can join and it's okay my wolf and I have already spoke and we decided this is best. We are still all in danger which is why I'm also going to suggest the Elder return to safe grounds unless called upon. Yes Luna Queen after the ceremony and unification rituals are complete I will keep myself cloaked when possible said the Elder. ​
