Crystals POV:

As I finish my last class I dread going to the packhouse to meet with my father. Will Samantha also be heading there I wondered I really hope not but something told me she will be. As I make my way to my car Valerie and her mate Blade came up to say goodbye.

"Crystal are you okay you look worried?" Val said ." Yeah just have a really bad feeling about the upcoming days, also if you don't see me in class don't worry I will be safe I will be with King Leon and his guards if anything" I replied. "Crystal I know we just met but if you are in danger and for some reason unable to get away please let us know I will defend you as you are the future Luna Queen" Blade said. "Fair enough love you guys be safe I have to go" I replied.

After our conversation I wondered what he meant by that I mean that was weird phrasing. Could he know something. As I pulled up to the packhouse my father was outside talking to his new bride to be the wicked monster Samantha. I simply got out of car and walked up telling my father "I will be in the office" then I walked past hurrying to the office.

Once inside the office I texted Leon that there may be trouble with his plan as I overheard Samantha tell my father I have to stay here especially as my birthday approaches. She tried to rationalize it by stating it's not uncommon for she-wolves to go into heat a bit earlier than before their first shift, which is true but that's a stupid excuse to keep me here. What is she planning? I thought to myself.

After about 20 mins of me waiting my father came in. He told me of the original plan and how he has to change it because of what Samantha reminded him. I told him that Alpha King Leon will be angry and will more than likely stay here in the kingdom for a few days. My father agreed and said I know you think you will be fated mates but what if you are not? Well father I will take him as my chosen mate because we are in love and reject my fated if he is ever found.

My father's eyes widened in shock and the boom his voice as he yelled "THAT ABSOLUTELY WILL NOT BE ACCEPTABLE, IF FOUND YOU SHALL ACCEPT AND REJECT KING LEON UNLESS THE MATE RITUAL HAS BEEN COMPLETE" as my father's voice started lower

I replied with " Well father king Leon and I will be completing the mate ritual just after my birthday as I am leaving especially if you continue to take Samantha as your Luna." My father was taken back by my words and began to speak but I just left saying "I will call King Leon for you so you don't cause more heartache for us so your welcome, see you at home".

I simply left got in my suv and drove to my secret apartment so I could cry alone without anyone knowing. Once I got there and was inside I tried to call Leon and there was no answer so I texted him "Pleasee call me my love it's urgent". As I sat there on the bed I cried so hard I passed out or so I thought.

I woke up to strange man hovered over me in a dark robe casting some weird ritual or spell. Little did I know it would be to send me into heat and force me to stay here alone in this apartment where I am defenseless and in pain. I passed back put again and when I woke the robed man was just gone. I sat up and checked my phone there was a text from Drake.

Hey dear cousin we will try to reach you for your birthday but if not something came up and we will make it up to you love Drake and Skyi

But there was no message from Leon I was surprised. I was gonna head home but I felt like I was starting to burn and the fever was kicking in. I instantly knew I am going into heat and I need to call the pack doctor immediately to try to stop it. I called the pack doctor and got myself in the bath with ice water but as I lay the excruciating pain began from the heat and not being taken care of.

The doctor came in and instantly went to work trying to stop or even delay it but he couldn't. He suggested calling my other half immediately cause I could have harm caused if not take care of. Which means if gone untreated it could cause me to have troubles conceiving a pup in the future. So I tried to call Leon.

Leon answered "hello love are you okay?" "Leon my darling come quick please hurry someone forced me to go into heat through some ritual I have the doctor here but he can't stop it you know what will happen i know im underage but you have to get here now. I am in my secret apartment alone and will be vulnerable to attack or worse please" as i begged while also whincing from the pain he simply replied "my love we shouldnt but you are right i will be there withon the hour please stay cool and safe".

We hung up and the pack doctor gave me a few ice packs helped me to the bed and gave me something to ease the pain temporarily. However what happened next I was not expecting.

Just as the heat began to rise my wolf came in "happy birthday Crystal it's nice to finally meet you I am Gemara and don't worry I will get you through this heat and only tell Leon if he's our mate for now I am here and I'll explain later"

As she was speaking I looked at the time it was just turning midnight and I looked at the calender so I could remember my birthday July 9th. So that's my birthday finally I know for sure. Getting my wolf and knowing my birthday was already the best gift but also getting to mate with Leon in secret was also a blessing and a bonus.
