Everything's on Pause

Crystals PoV:

With everything going on I can't help but notice everything else is on pause. Such as the wedding, our lives, and our forming family. There's been so much threats and constant attacks that everything has been put on hold.

I woke up early way before Leon and decided to take a long bath to clear my head. I mind-linked the chef to have my breakfast brought to my office for me this morning. I wanted to get a head start on some research as well as some wedding plans to get a head start. The more I do now the less I will have to worry about later.

I got out the bath quietly got dressed and started to make my way to the office. I bumped into Rico who suggested I wait for Leon. However, I told him that I wanted to have some quiet time alone to go over a few things. He proceeded to say that I should at least have a few guards by the doors especially after all that has happened. I agreed and continued on my way to the office.

When I entered the office I locked the door and sat at my desk. I was scared when a astral body appeared. Who else would it be but Fredrick.

The lovely queen all alone good I will be coming back for you and that pup in a matter of time. Also the minute I have you in my possession I will mate with you and mark you. I don't know how you escaped but it will not happen again. Tell the King I'm coming for his head as well. Ta-ta for now.

With that he just vanished. I layed a hand over my pups and began to cry so loud the entire castle shook and the doors to the office were busted down with me laying on the floor holding my belly and crying.

Leon busted in half naked and immediately called for a doctor to come to the castle as he picked me up and layed me on top of an empty table. Even with his touch all I could do is cry and scream in fear.

King Leons PoV:

I was having a beautiful dream of our family when the castle shook and I heard Crystal screaming and crying. I didn't have time to get dressed. I ran out the bedroom and followed her sound. I busted down the door.

When I entered she was laying on the floor holding her belly and crying and screaming. I feared the worst and called for the doctor and placed her on an empty table.

I was a little bothered that my touch didn't calm her she was frantic with fear and that's when I used my King command without thinking. WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED? WHO DID THIS TO THE QUEEN?

She grabbed my hand pulled me close and whispered Fredrick before passing put. I grabbed her in my arms again and took her to the hospital since the doctor couldn't leave there. ​

After leaving her in the room I went back to get dressed before calling Drake to see if he learned anything. He talked about his meeting with Lucian and that Crystal's ability go beyond what she explained her scream also has the ability to make other weres shift and become protective even if they are of other species. She has much more that we are still translating from the text Drake said.

Keep digging she just shook the whole castle. I explained what happened and he got nervous. He said that her abilities are growing too fast because of the pups and she needs to be watched at all times. Take her from the hospital and put her on bed rest especially when it's too much for her. Also promote exercise and limited supervised practice of her abilities. He also said he and Skyi will be back he's gonna gather all the texts and come back to help her gain control.

I appreciate it Drake see you soon. After our conversation I picked her up and took her to the castle to our bed. She stayed a sleep. After I left back to the office to try and figure out what happened.

She was planning the wedding and that's when it dawned on me we haven't had our wedding and I've been neglecting her wants and needs since all of this trouble began. She was still secretly planning it that made me feel warm inside. I also feel sad inside that I had completely forgotten about it and our plans.

I'm also sure it looks like I'm distant from her growing belly. I need to do better not just for her but for our pups.

Crystal's PoV:

When I woke I was in bed, then it dawned on me I passed out after Fredrick astral projected. I have to find Leon and tell him. But when I tried to get up I couldn't I was in terrible pain. It felt like I was hit by a bus I ache all over which is odd for weres to go through. So I looked at the time and decided to mind-link the chef to bring some food up.

After I mind-linked Leon to let him know that I'm awake and that I'm in pain. I also told him we needed to discuss something and to come to the room when available.

Once the food arrived I ate and there was still no Leon so I called a maid in to help me into a warm bath and to get a Tylenol from the pack doctor with some jasmine and raspberry tea. After my bath I was able to move around but Leon still hasn't responded to my mind-link and I was getting worried. So I decided to go look for him.
