{Hina}-[starts reading the drenched papers]

Project Ghost Protocol

This report goes against my oath of work, but it has to be done anyway.

On August 19th 2014 the Artificial Ghost Protocol experiment was concluded after a series of failure due to the in ability of the homunculus to exhibit intellectual reasoning and adapt to gene enhancements.

And with this live subject experiments began.

First we started with criminals on death rolls, but it was to no avail as their already matured cerebrum could not adapt to the genetic enhancements, so this brought more deaths but of course nobody cared about their deaths since they were death roll criminals.

All this in the name of creating greater crime fighting forces in terms of strength, speed, and Intellectual.

Everything reached the point break when the JCI decided to make developing cerebrums their next subject, by this I mean children of age bracket 9-14 years.

The JCI has made the orphans their target due to the weak relationship chains they have with the society.

As I write this report and leaked information, my 12 years old boy has been shortlisted among the test subjects to ensure my absolute best in making this experiment successful.

But I have made my decision that I can’t sacrifice the lives of little children for the greed of power by the JCI.

I will run as far as I can with my family and I beg you to intervene and save the lives of these orphans that I can’t.

Official Agreement 2014

Upon the successful completion of the Ghost Project difficulties will arise such as legalization of operation and financial resources for maintenance of the operation, so as such the JCI has decided to strike an agreement with the Japanese Government in order to establish a mutual relationship where both parties benefit from this project.

Benefits to the JCI will include financial sponsoring for the project’s maintenance and activities and approval for legal operation of this project.

Benefits to the government will be 40% control power over this project.

With this the Ghost protocol can be used by the government in battlefields of war, assassinations carried out on the government’s orders and societal law and order maintenance.

{Hina}-[soliloquy]” After reading this when you wake up I wonder if you will still consider them your family.”

[door knock] [7:07AM]

{Hina}-[slowly wakes up from her interrupted sleep]

[continuous door knock]

{Hina}-[gets the door]

{Mei}-[all dressed in black]” Where is he?”

{Hina}-” I don’t know, I just woke up.”

{G2}-[Interrupts]” I already saw the message from HQ I won’t be coming for the funeral, you should carry on without me.”

{Mei}-[speechless]

{Hina}-[looks at G2]” You really need to be there.”

{G2}-” I can’t take her burial as a way of honoring her after she was murdered by the same people attending the ceremony.”

{Hina}-[looks at Mei]-” She was one of the few friends I had, it would mean a lot to me if you would let me be there.”

{Mei}-” Do you have a black to wear.”

{Hina}-[nods her head]

{Mei}-[nonchalant]” You’re responsible for yourself there baby girl.”

{Hina}-” Understood.”

{Mei}-” I will be inside my car.”[walks out the door]

{Hina}-[walks towards the room to change]

{G2}-[grabs her arm and places his credit card]” When you get back from the funeral, pack your belongings and leave as soon as possible. The card has sufficient money for you to live out your life for a long time.”

{Hina}-[disturbed]” What are you angry at me?”

{G2}-[snubs her]

{Hina}-” Is it because I opened the envelope?”

{G2}-[clueless]” I don’t know what you mean, but I’m not angry. Take care of yourself out there, it was nice knowing you s*x girl.”

{Hina}-[confused]

{G2}-[Walks out the door]

JCI Headquarters, Grave Hall [9:10AM]

{Sergeant Yonda}-[giving a eulogy to the people present]” I can’t really say G003 was the best agent a sergeant could monitor, if anything she was always troublesome. But that was part of the things that made up her beautiful and kind heart towards her work and people. She also did the right things even when it was the wrong time to. I will say for sure she was one of the best this organization will ever see for ages.”

{Hina}-[talks to Mei in a low tune]” Why is the place looking scanty. Aren't you supposed to be more than this inside this huge building?”

{Mei}-” Everyone has their vices. Some people think it’s only useless being here at the funeral after hearing how she died.”

{Hina}-” G2 never told me how she died.”

{Mei}-” The JCI terminated her after labeling her as a traitor of the organization.”

{Hina}-[soliloquy]” The papers in the envelope must have been sent by her.”

{Mei}-” We the few here will honor her because we knew what she really represented as an agent and a traitor wasn’t part.”

{Stranger}-{interrupts}-” Allo Mademoiselles.”

{Mei}-[rageful and foul mood]

{Reiner}-[dramatic]” Oh my Dieu(God in French). Why the rageful gaze Sergeant Mei I’m here for condolences, but I feel like I need it even more than you now.”

{Mei}-[furious]” Get out of my sight Reiner immediately.”

{Reiner}-[looks at his Sergeant behind]” Are you Sergeants all douche bags, Maya?”

{Sergeant Maya}-[looks away without a response]

{Reiner}-[terrifying gaze]” Heyy Maya, I just asked you a question right now.”

{Sergeant Maya}-[intimidated]” Yes, we all are.”

{Hina}-[annoyed]

{Reiner}-” Good girl Maya. Well, a good day to us all.”[walks away]

{Hina}-” Who is he?”

{Mei}-” Akira’s killer G1.”

{Mei}-” He told you to leave?”

{Hina}-[packing her stuff]” Yes, this morning.”

{Mei}-” Well, it’s the best thing for both of you.”

{Hina}-[snubs her]

{G1}-[seated on a couch]” God I hate this country, I just want to leave. What time is the flight, Maya?”

[silence in the room]

{G1}-” Hey where the hell are you?”

{G2}-[seated on the other side of the room]” Her hands are tied at the moment, so she can’t come to you if you know what I mean, that is.”

{G1}-[gets up]” Who are you?”

{G2}-” The man the devil sent to bring you home.[rolls down an unpinned grenade towards G1]

{G1}-” Le f**k!!”

[both jump away from the explosion]

{G1}-[taking cover behind a door]” You know, people normally use Nano-grenade these days.”

{G2}-[taking cover behind a tumbled couch]” Really? I will keep that in mind when I go after your bosses.”

{G1}-[crawling away from danger quietly]

{G2}-” Already leaving? We haven’t even had dinner.”

{G1}-[takes cover again]” Sorry, I’m more of a dessert person.”

{G2}-[rushes towards G1 for a fist combat]

{G3}-[swiftly knocks G2 down using a fire extinguisher]” Look at the mess you made here. Do you even know how much it will cost to fix this place?”

{G2}-[head bleeding while lying on the floor]

{G1}-[extinguishing fire in the room caused by the explosion]” The silver hair, the forehead bar code you must be the new G002. I’ve heard a lot about your abilities, and do you know what I think of it all? Overestimated.”

{G2}-[sits up]

{G1}-” If I wanted to kill you, I wouldn’t sit in the same room with you and start throwing grenades. I would use a sniper or something.”

{G2}-” So you could have a quick and painless death after what you did?”

{G1}-” Oh, I see you’re here for the girl’s revenge. You know, she kept telling me she had friends even more brutal than me. I thought it might be true, but after seeing your abilities, I guess it was just her begging for her life.”

{G2}-[sinks his hand into his pocket]

{G1}-[flaunts G2’s gun at him]” See what I mean. You need more training, kid.”

{G2}-” I wasn’t looking for that.”[tosses an unpinned grenade on G1's body]

{G1}-[terrified]” You i***t, you.”

[grenade explodes only in smoke]

{G1}-[makes his way out of the smoke screen]” Smoke grenade, not bad.”

[phone rings]

{G1}-[answers the call]

{G2}-” Meet me at the train station, and we can finish this quick.”

{G1}-” Write your will before I get there kid.”

Tokyo Train Station, Toma Terminal [2:50PM]

{G2}-” I started thinking you wouldn’t come.”

{G1}-” If I ran from an amateur like you, would I still be considered G001?”

{G2}-” What if you die at the hands of this amateur?”

{G2}-” In between life and death.”

{G1}-” That’s unfortunate. Just let me get my flight details from her, and you can do what you wish with her. I’m sick of this country, I need to leave ASAP.”

{G2}-” As I thought you’re not one to care about others.”

{G2}-[pulls out a gun]

{G1}-” A shootout with civilians around? You sure are desperate to kill me.”

{G2}-” Is that you begging for your life?”

{G1}-[walks into an empty cabin on the train]” Come in here, and we can find out.”

{G2}-[walks into the cabin]

{G1}-[pulls out a knife]” Fist or knife?”

{G2}-[G2 throws a blow at G1]

{G1}-[uses his forehead to counter G2’s blow]” Movements too obvious.”

{G2}-[grabs G1 by the collar]

{G1}-[sweeps G2 off his feet]” Too open, G2. Come on, make this fun for me.”

{G2}-[furiously tries to get back up]

{G1}-[knee kick to G2’s chest]

{G2}-[back on the ground, holding his chest in agony]

{G1}-[nods his head]” You know why they call me G1?”

{G2}-[down on his limbs struggling to get up]

{G1}-” Because I’m the strongest.”

{G2}-[pulls out his knife and stabs G1’s foot down to the ground]

{G1}-[screams in agony while trying to pull out the knife]

{G2}-” No, you don’t.”[throws continuous blows and kicks on disabled G1]

{G1}-[head buts G2 away and pulls out the knife from his foot]” You little piece of shit.”

{G2}-[smiles with nosebleeds]” What did I hurt the strongest?”

{G1}-[rushes towards G2]

{G2}-[heavy blow to G1’s throat]” Too open.”

{G1}-[walks back holding his throat to grasp for air]

{G2}-[walks towards G1]

{G1}-[mind games]” Do you know how I killed her?”

{G2}-[slows down]

{G1}-[smiles with his bleeding face]” We first played a game of hunter and prey.”

{G2}-[trying to top his emotions]

{G1}-” You know what I’m talking about? That kind of hunt where you give the prey hope of escaping just to take out the fear from its meat. That way the meat tastes better.”[licks his lips all round]

{G2}-[rushes in with rage]” You bastard, you’re dead.”

{G1}-[gets a good stab on G2's rib]” Sorry, you said?”

{G2}-[down on his knees]” You--.”

{G1}-” You fought well kid, but I’m the strongest.”

{G2}-[speaks in a very low tune while picking up his knife]

{G1}-[goes down]” What I can’t hear, you kid.”

{G2}-” They call me G2 because I’m the smartest.”[stabs G1’s jaw with force]

{G1}-[bleeding immensely from his mouth and jaw]

{G2}-[tries pulling out the knife inside him but fails]” What a way to die.”

{Mei}-[walks into the cabin with Hina]” G2!!!”

{G2}-” Just in time, sergeant.”[falls down on the ground]

{Hina}-[rushes over to him in worry]” Heyy are you alright?”

{G2}-” Sure I have a knife deep in me, what could be wrong with me?”[irony]

{Hina}-[tries pulling out the knife]

{Mei}-[grabs Hina’s hand]” Don’t he will bleed out before we get help, it's really deep.”

{G2}-” You should have just left her to end me, Mei.”

{Hina}-[in tears]” Shut up, G2. Why are you doing all this? Aki is already gone.”

{Mei}-[furiously tries to make a call]” Because he’s an idiot.”

{G2}-” Don’t waste your time with the call Mei.”

{Mei}-[agitated]” Why?”

{G2}-” Because I’m not a JCI ghost anymore.”[points at G1’s dead body]

{Mei}-[shocked]” What did you do G2?”

{Hina}-” Isn’t that G1?”

{G2}-” He was, but he’s no more now.”

{Mei}-[heads over to G1’s corpse]” You bloody fool. Hina come here we need to hide his body.”

{G2}-” Don’t waste your time, they already know it’s me. We started the clash from JCI.”

{Mei}-[arms on her head]” You need to get out of here now, G2.”

{G2}-” Just give me 10 mins and I will get out of this world completely.”

{Mei}-[walks back to G2]” Help him up Hina you 2 need to leave this city now.”

{G2}-” You know we can’t run from them.”

{Mei}-[making preparations for departure on her phone]” But you can hide. Let's go, come on.”

[Train Tickets Counter]

{Mei}-” 2 tickets to Kagoshima.”

{Counter lady}-” The train leaves in 2 mins, can you make it?”

{Mei}-[snatches the tickets]” We have to.”

[Hina and G2 walk into the train]

{Mei}-[stops by the entrance]” When you reach Kagoshima, someone will be there to pick you two up.”

{Hina}-[G2 leaning on her shoulder]” Aren’t you coming?”

{Mei}-” Not with JCI behind me.”

{Hina}-[sights officers coming their way]

{Mei}-[desperate]” The train is leaving, you need to go now. The person you are to meet is named Kiara. Keep him alive till then, please.”

{Hina}-” But Mei--[door shuts out on Hina]

{G2}-” Hey is it me or it’s already nighttime?”[drops down while bleeding out]

{Hina}-” Hey G2, G2 open your eyes, Hey. Someone help us.”

{G2}-[fading away]” You’re too loud Hina I need to rest a bit.”

{Hina}-[in tears]” G2 don’t, open your eyes, G2.”

{Stranger}-” I'm a doctor?”
