Chapter 4: Blake's Business

I looked around and saw that other people were staring at me. I didn't know what to do or what to say. I saw Amber glaring at Blake. I guess Blake was right when he said Amber enjoyed all the attention. It was Lunch time and I decided to sit next to Blake and all the other students were constantly staring at me and whispering how lucky I was that Blake was letting me sit next to him. Blake had a smirk on his face while gobbling up his lunch as if knowing what I was thinking right now. I knew that he thought I was very lucky indeed but I didn't like it. I wasn't used to all the attention, even if I did I would miss it if I lose it. I looked at my plate, I had barely eaten anything with all these people staring at me. "Hey you want your cheese sandwich or not" Blake asked. Boys.....why am I not surprised. "Sure" I said sliding my plate over to him.

"Thanks". I looked around some more and saw Vinivie sitting alone at one corner of a Lunch table. I wanted to sit next to her but then realised that she wouldn't do the same if I was in her place. She noticed me and gave me a half smile. I gave her an sad smile looked away. Hmp......just giving people their own taste of medicine. I decided to be brave and head over to the library that I saw when entering the building but I didn't know if they were going to let me go without a pass. But I decided to go and see what happens anyway. I tried to be sneaky if they didn't let you go without a lunch pass if I get caught. "Hey where are you going" Blake said running after me. "That's none of your business" I said. Oops........I guess I was so used to saying these words that I forgot who I was saying that to. He looked at me with a weird face and started walking with me.

"Well honey, I didn't know you had such an attitude but guess what?" He leaned closer to me. "It is my business" he said with a smirk. Woah what just happened there. I didn't mean to offend him or something but I felt weird that he called me "honey" and to be honest it actually was my business not his. "I-I......I was just going to the library cuz I got bore sitting in there" I said softly. "Well, I totally understand what you meant by being bored. If you was actually bored you could've just told me, I would've have spiced things up for in a second! And by the way the library is even more boring all you do is pick and read books. Hey, we could skip the rest of the lunch period and go to my house, like Amber said my parents wont be at home at this time" he winked. OMG!? I did not understand how he could say such a thing like that. Well, I better figure out something to say or else we gon be here all day. "Umm, no thanks it's ok I'll just go to the library while you go and sneak home and come back" I replied.

He just groaned and continued to walk besides me. It was my first time going into the library so I had to look around a bit. I guess it was Blake's first time coming to the library too for he didn't say anything else. I liked fiction and hilarious books so I walked over to the teen fantasy books so I could read the books and dream about whatever happens in that book to happen in real life. Yup, I have a weird habit of when it comes to reading books. Blake gave me a look when he saw what section I was heading towards. "Your seriously going to a teenage fiction area?" he asked. "Well, to be honest I actually don't like reading these type of books. "Then go find what type of books you like to read" I said. I saw him shrug and head towards a comic book area. Why does all the boys like to read comic books but to be honest I actually do like reading comic books but it gives me a feeling I will lose my nerdy stuff and people will call me a normal girl who likes to read comic books.

Most people try their best not to look like a nerd but to me, I actually like it when people call me a nerd obviously. I picked up a book with a girl standing in the middle, " The last virgin standing" it said. The title sounded kind of horny but for some reason it got my attention. I didn't know why the school would put books like this but I will have to read this book to find out. I sat on a chair started reading the first chapter and that's when I lost it. I had already fallen in love with this book already omg.. "Hey do you need to pay for this books"? I looked up and saw Blake looking back at me. Oops, I was so focused on reading this book that I totally didn't realized Blake coming towards me. I tried to hide the book that I was reading but it was already too late. Blake looked at the book I was reading and immediately a smirk creeped upon his lips. "Wait, can I see that book?" he said as he snached the book away from me. "Give it back!" I yelled. "Wow ....The last Virgin standing hmmm... very interesting Chloe I didn't know that you missed being a virgin but hey, you should be glad you found me cuz I could make you regret thinking that instantly." WTF?! Is he flirting with me? oh hell no I'm way too ugly for him...well.. am I?
