The warning I gave him was ignored, and he thought I wouldn’t do what I was about to do now. In the beginning, it wasn’t love with Rena, but she became that person I would always protect and care for even if we weren’t married. EJ sent over the intel on Ted’s whereabouts since he tried to set my brother up to be killed and put me in jail. Rena was in New York at some fashion event. We arranged for Ted’s car to break down on the street. From there, my men would bring him to me. I glanced at the time on the wall until I heard the garage doors open of the warehouse. The limo pulled in and stopped with my guards carrying Ted out with a black cloth over his head.
“Let me go! Do you know who I am?” he shouted, wrangling to get out of their hold.
“Let him go.”
