"Mr. Thompson, please wait."
Principal Long immediately chased after him after hanging up the phone.
"Sophia, I'll accept you."
Principal Long's attitude had a one-hundred-and-eighty-degree change.
Even someone like Gavin Thompson, who had seen the world, wasn't sure why Principal Long had changed his mind.
Gavin asked in confirmation, "Principal Long, did I hear you right?"
"Mr. Thompson, you heard right, I'll arrange Sophia's class now."
Principal Long immediately called the Head Teacher and asked her to make arrangements for Sophia.
Sophia didn't refuse, but she also knew it wasn't that simple.
Sophia was given a place in one of the worst-performing classes by the head teacher, who gave her a uniform and handed her over to the homeroom teacher of the eighth class of the twelfth grade.
"Mr. Hernandez, our Sophia is counting on you."
Mr. Hernandez politely said, "Don't worry, sir, you can go back first! I'll bring Sophia to class later."
Which of the parents of this Harvard-Westlake School were not powerful figures, they, the humble teachers, couldn't afford to mess with them at all.
The third period happened to be Mr. Hernandez's physics class, and Mr. Hernandez took Sophia to twelfth-grade class eight.
"Ladies and gentlemen, there's a new student in our class today, so let's ask the new student to introduce herself, and let's give her a round of applause."
Sophia walked up to the podium and wrote the words Sophia Thompson on the board.
"Hi everyone, I'm Sophia Thompson."
Sophia Thompson? Upon hearing that name, someone at the bottom immediately began to whisper.
"Is that the same Sophia who got kicked out of school five years ago?"
"Like she is! Used to be in the same class as me."
"I heard she had an abortion in middle school. Is that true?"
"Really, at the time..."
Mr. Hernandez said gently, "Okay, everyone quiet down. Sophia, there's another seat in the top row. Go sit down!"
Sophia went to the last row and sat down, not even bothered by the disgusted glares.
The eighth class of twelfth grade was considered a regular class at Harvard Westlake School, a class with a lot of powerful people.
They were some fearless ones, and after the third period was over, Georgia Lindsay walked up to Sophia.
"Sophia, it is you! I can't believe you have the nerve to come back to L.A. If I were you..."
Georgia was Victoria's follower and used to always be helping Victoria bully Sophia.
Sophia arrived in unfamiliar surroundings, having not slept all night last night, all she felt now was a headache, "Georgia shut the f**k up."
Georgia, however, wasn't afraid of her at all and grabbed Sophia's hand, as Sophia was still the same little white rabbit that she used to be at the mercy of, "Sophia, this isn't Phoenix, what do you think you're worth in Los Angeles?"
Her good-looking eyes narrowed dangerously, and then, with a deft touch, she grabbed Georgia's hand in reverse and folded it straight back.
"Ah..."
Georgia screamed out in pain.
The others, seeing the ruthlessness of Sophia's eyes, didn't dare to go over and talk them out of it.
"Like I said, I don't want trouble, but I'm not afraid of it either. Georgia, remember, I'm not the same Sophia I was five years ago, and not just anyone can step on me. Also, you should remember what you did five years ago! Everything I went through, I will pay you all back little by little, slowly."
Sophia suddenly felt that it was incredibly right to go back.
When she finished, she pushed Georgia so hard that Georgia was pushed to the ground.
Georgia was completely subdued.
Such a Sophia was frightening.
She must not let Sophia remain in Los Angeles. She must be destroyed.
For the last two classes, Sophia slept at her desk, and when class was over, she grabbed her backpack and headed out the door.
Just outside the school gates, she saw a man named Francisco already waiting there.
She thought that maybe Principal Long's change was because of them!
Without waiting for Francisco to say more, Sofia pulled open the door next to him and got in.
Francisco couldn't get a word out of his prepared speech when it came to Sophia.
"Thomas, is it? I saved you last time, and you've helped me this time. From now on, we don't owe each other anything. Don't come back to me."
Sophia's good-looking eyes were impatient - these two were not simple people, and she didn't want anything to do with them.
"My life is worth a lot."
All he'd done today was ask Francisco to make a phone call, a drop in the bucket compared to what she'd done.
"I'm Thomas Ryan of the Ryan's Consortium, and I need you."
Hearing Thomas say that Francisco was completely confused.
What kind of person did the Ryan's syndicate want that they didn't have? He really couldn't figure out why Mr. Ryan just had to have this Sophia.
Sophia looked at Thomas calmly, "What do I, an uneducated delinquent girl, have on me that you want?"
Few people dared to look Thomas straight in the eye like that.
Sure enough, this young girl was very different.
"Medical skill."
"Medical skills? Are you kidding me? What kind of medical skills can I have as an eighteen-year-old twelfth-grader? I've already told you guys, it's just luck that I removed the bullet from you. If it wasn't lucky, you'd be dead by now."
"Sophia, I'm not kidding you, think about it."
The Ryan's Consortium, which was a legend, the most sought-after consortium by the powerful in Los Angeles, this little girl was the one who didn't give a damn.
Sophia didn't want to keep up the nonsense, they weren't going to give up anyway, no matter what.
"Mr. Ryan, if you want to date her, just say so! Look at that, she doesn't even believe you for that reason."
Thomas looked at Sophia, who had left - the young girl, very much to his liking.
When she got out of the car, Sophia's phone rang.
Unlocking the screen and seeing the phone number, she just hung up.
Yet the other party called a dozen times in quick succession as if they didn't know what it meant to give up.
Sophia finally managed to pick up the phone, "You better be up to something, I'm in a bad mood."
"Shadow, you're still so grumpy, when are you coming back?"
Butterfly was unimpressed with Shadow's fiery temper.
"Tell me about it!"
"Okay! There is a job, take it or not?"
Butterfly knew Shadow's temperament, whether she took the order or not depended on her mood, but only if she took the order, would it be completed perfectly.
" No."
As the smallest and most powerful hacker of the Wings of Light, whether Shadow took the order or not depended entirely on the mood.
"Shadow, this time the cybersecurity of the United States is at stake. I personally still hope that you can seriously consider it."
If it was any other order, Butterfly wouldn't have made this call.
"Cybersecurity?" Sophia was finally that interested, "Okay, send the information over."
Sophia hung up the phone directly after saying that.
Butterfly was about to say something, but when she heard her say that, she immediately went to send out the information.
And over here, at Ryan's Consortium, Thomas rushed back after receiving a call from Chase Quinn.
Chase said excitedly, "Mr. Ryan, Shadow appeared."
Chase was about to die of excitement at the thought of his idol finally appearing.
"Gather all the people of the Consortium, this time, I must know who this Shadow is."
Shadow, the strongest hacker ever, appeared and disappeared mysteriously. No one knew if a man or a woman had a legendary existence.
It was the person that all the international consortiums wanted to hook - if one owned her, one owned the entire cybersecurity.
