Hazel's POV:
I and Adriana got to the coffee shop together while arguing that Jaden Smith is cuter than Justin Bieber. Well Adriana, she never backs down. We began our usual routine of cleaning and arranging the space before customers begin to come. The shop got so busy today with Mr Brixton yelling orders as usual with a touch of curse words sometimes and Adriana always bears the brute of it.
Just then, two customers walk in. Men who look to be in their mid 50s came up to the counter to place their orders.
"Hi beautiful.." the first man spoke to me in a disgustingly flirty manner, flashing his cigarette damaged teeth at me while the other just kept staring at my chest hungrily, as he couldn't see the rest of my body.
"What can I offer you gentlemen?" I asked calmly and as professionally as I could.
"Wouldn't mind a slice of you, kitty" one of them replied as his eyes roamed my body.
When they saw I wasn't budging, they quickly placed their orders and went to sit at their table.
I put their orders together and went to their table to serve them.
"Here you go gentlemen" I said with a professional smile.
As I turned to leave, one of them slapped my butt and i instantly lost my cool. I turned around and pushed him as hard as I could as my face turned red and my eyes blazing with anger.
"What the hell is wrong with this b***h!? Who the hell do you think you are you push me huh? You are just a cheap w***e and I'm gonna show you how w****s are treated!"
He pulled me by the hair and began to drag me. Just then Mr Brixton stepped in and the man released me.
"You'll apologize to the customer this instant! Miss Micheals" Mr Brixton ordered.
"I…I can't possibly do that sir. This is s****l harassment and I'm not a w***e!" I replied in my defense as tears streamed down my eyes.
"In that case, you are fired. Get the hell outta this establishment and I don't wanna ever see you again. The sooner you realize that every customer is right, the better for you. Now get out!"
Tears streamed down my eyes as I begged for my job in despair. My best friend joined in pleading but Mr Brixton was adamant insisting that I was unprofessional.
I walked out of the coffee shop dejectedly and non stop tears poured out of my eyes having lost the only source of livelyhood I had.
I lay in the couch, eating Tacos as my only form of consolation when the door bell rang. Adriana strolled in lazily and slumped onto the couch beside me as she reached for my Tacos.
"What you doing home by this time of the day?" I asked with worry etched on my face, thinking something may have happened in my absence.
"Well…we are officially jobless!" She screamed in excitement and laughter.
"What! What did you do? What do you mean 'we'?"
"Well I couldn't watch my best friend being abused and kicked out at the same time so I kicked my self out too. I mean that place is a hell hole without you and I really hate that blonde" she said referring to the other girl at the coffee shop, whose name we never cared to find out because she was mean and rude.
I immediately burst out in tears, I was so touched. Adriana hugged me while saying soothing words and we decided to yell out our frustrations.
"I hate the coffee shop!" Adriana screamed at the top of her voice.
"I hate Mr Brixton!" I followed immediately.
"I hate the blonde!" Adriana yelled.
"I hate the streets of New York!"
"I hate that damn alarm clock!"
When we were tired of yelling we hugged each other, when the thought crossed my mind.
"How do we find a job?" I asked my best friend
We both looked at each other for a minute and suddenly burst into laughter shaking our heads in laughter filled with worry and uncertainty.
Nicholai POV:
"How the hell did they manage to leave the f*****g basement!?" I yelled in anger at the gang.
"How the f*****g hell did Fernando leave the basement!" I asked again shaking in anger.
"I think Macho set him free. The most important thing now is we've confirmed our mole without even toturing him" Drew spoke up before I finally lost it.
"I want those bastards found before 6pm today. I want to kill them myself" I ordered with my eyes blazing in anger.
After dismissing the gang, I still felt so much frustration. I then decided to visit the coffee shop. I wanted to see her pretty face and lovely smile when she asks my order. I immediately took my jacket and headed out.
I got to the coffee shop to meet it rather empty with a few people scattered around. I walked to the counter to place my order but I was met by a blonde who kept smiling flirtatiously and almost shoving her breasts up my face as she leaned on the counter to take my order.
"What may I offer you handsome?" She asked seductively, blinking her lashes at me in a manner that irked me.
"Where's Hazel?" I asked coldly quirking an eyebrow at her as her face fell in disappointment.
Just then a man I deduced to be the shop owner from the way the blonde greeted him walked in.
"I have no idea where that b***h is" she huffed a reply rolling her eyes. I corked my head to the side at her reply. I usually don't hit women but this b***h needs a beating.
"What's the matter sir?" The man asked me.
"I'm looking for Hazel. She works here" I replied as calmly as possible.
"Well not anymore. I fired her".
"May I ask why?" I asked again still calm. He looked at me in doubt before deciding within himself to give me an answer.
"She had the guts to push a customer to the floor simply because he admired her". I quirked my brow and tilted my head to the side.
"Well… well she claimed he touched her butt and all that s**t about s****l harassment but that isn't enough reason to be unprofessional!"
"What's your name?" I managed to ask again calmly despite anger clawing at my heart.
"Mr Brixton. Tony Brixton" he replied almost immediately.
Taking two steps away from the counter and dipping my hands in my pockets, I calmly stated all I had to say.
"You Mr Brixton, have crossed a line you shouldn't have crossed".
