As soon as she reached the top of the stairs, Aurora stopped to look around and nearly gasped at the sight in front of her. The small staircase led to an enormous room that stretched on and on all the way in front of her and seemed to be a library, with rows and rows of books as far as she could see. Large floor to ceiling windows covered the walls on her left and behind her, letting the light in, even though she was fairly sure that from the outside, the building was made of stone and only smaller windows. Along those windows were a few desks and chairs, while in the corner behind her was a cozy set of mismatched couches and armchairs, right next to a small kitchenette with a sink and a coffee machine.
