Matteo woke up because someone was destroying his kitchen. At least that was what it sounded like. He blinked in the bright sunlight and tried to remember what happened last night, when he sat up and saw her. Aurora didn’t look happy to be here. Her lips pressed together into a tight, straight line, her hands opening and closing cupboards, seemingly making as much noise as possible. “What’s wrong?” his voice was hoarse from too much alcohol and too little sleep.
