By the time Brad had driven to Ann Arbor from Gregory—where Reynolds Quarter Horses was located—he had let go of much of his overt anger. Now he was just confused and hurt. He didn’t understand why he was getting information secondhand. He sat in the car for a few more minutes trying to get his balance.
