Hunter frowned at Noel's answer.
"What do you mean?" He asked, a sudden wave of anger hitting him, "She is one of my most trusted—"
"She loves you," Noel said, "She saw us kissing."
Hunter let out an ironic laugh.
"I believe you did not kill the humans, Noel," Hunter said, "However, I refuse to believe it's Celine who did it. Her mother was a human! Her mother got killed by the hands of a vampire! She cares for the humans!"
"I know she does," Noel said, "But she snapped when she saw us—"
"Celine is not like that!" Hunter cut in, "She will kill the likes of you without hesitation but she won't kill a human!"
Noel raised an eyebrow.
"The likes of me?" He repeated.
Hunter claimed down.
"That is not—"
Noel stepped away from Hunter.
"I will investigate the case on my own," he mutter
