Everyone stared at Red in shocked silence. Noel furrowed his eyebrows clearly knowing Red was lying.
"Red..." He said as he took a step forward.
Red shook his head.
"I am sorry, Noel," he said, looking away from Noel.
Noel had no idea what to say as he looked at Red who turned towards his father.
"Give me time, father," Red said, "I love Noel , but not as much. I will learn to love him as time passes by."
Red's father solemnly shook his head.
"I am afraid I cannot do that," he said, "You and your mate are connected by souls. If you don't love him enough right now when you just discovered your connection, I cannot trust you to love him in the future."
