Arielleas POV It's so strange knowing I don't belong here. Knowing that I'll never find anything for myself. Since I was 12, everyone has looked at me like I was broken. Every time someone looked at me in my glowing purple eyes, they seemed scared. All I wanted was to be like everyone else. I know I had a family once I remembered them in flashes. But it's like someone took everything in my memory away. Like I said, since I was 12 is when things changed. "Hey, watch where you're going!" I had bumped into someone while walking down the gravel path to where "home" was. "Oh, sorry." I said, looking up from staring at my feet while I was wondering in my own thoughts. "You better... Oh! s-s-orry, Ariellea." The man said while scurring off like a frightened mouse. I really don't understand these people. I've been here far too long. Yet everyone still thinks I'm a monster or freak. I wish someone would talk to me and tell me what happened. The Man's POV How do I get this darn thing to work. Saying while hitting a rock against my creation. "Why won't this thing move?" i muttered to myself when, out of nowhere, someone had run into me. "Hey, watch where you're going!" Saying as i got up onto my feet to look at who i was about to push around. I began saying, "You better apologize before i knock you over." But I locked eyes with the strange girl with purple eyes. My words changed mid sentence. I was the one apologizing. Before she could say anything back, my legs had me running back to town without my creation. I'm such a coward even though she's not exactly human, and not exactly from my relam she's still beautiful. Why should someone run from such beauty. I thought as I entered town slowing from my run to a walk. I can't believe my stupidity ether apologizing for something I didn't do. ugh. Arielleas POV Yup, that's about right. Someone else apologizing for something I did. Shaking my head, I went ahead down the path. kicking rocks and picking up random shapped objects. Going home was my only safe place. But I knew in my heart it's not home. I'm so different from everyone here. They dress so plainly. So preserved and looking the same. No one really stands out, only me. I like tinkering with things and creating new things. I've made it to where whomever opens the door to my shed of my home will see my creations. Beautiful works of art. I've made my own clothes from scratch. My favorite outfut so far is a vest that's checkered, and i had sewed on some gears over my heart. I love the look of the gears I've found for it. On a nother thought, it's amazing how, at home, I feel when creating these things. Some things use steam to move or like how I light my shed. I've created a way where the rain water collects on top of the roof and my fireplace makes the water turn to steam. Which then flows through the pipes I found outside an abandoned building. I had to repair some cracks in them with other parts I found. But it works for this little place and also keeps it warm during the night. Since I live out in the forest. No one comes out here cause of all the bears and wolves. I'm not sure how I know how to create these things. But it's helped me survive this place. Hmm, the sun's going down best get to sleep. 13 years ago "Ariellea!!" A brunette with bright red eyes yelled across an open field. "Ariellea, it's time to come back home!!" A beautiful young lady came running through the sunflowers that faced towards her as she ran. She wore a pure white dress with a black corset that had the sun reflecting from it. Her eyes were as bright as the women's but were purple. "Where had you gone to this time, dear?" the woman asked Ariellea as she ran past. "Oh, no where really." she giggled, looking back at her mom. "Oh, really?" Her mom said with an eyebrow raised following after her daughter. "You only say that when you found something special to you." She looks after Ariella with a thoughtful look. "Mooom, it's really nothing. I don't even know what it is or does." Ariella grabs something out her sock and hands it to her mom. Her mom looks it over with a small smile and a sigh. "What is it, mom?" Staring at her with wide eyes. "Hm, it seems you found something from the other side. Looks like a key of some kind." She examined it closer, finding it had some rust and mud caked on it. "Where'd you find it?" Looking at Ariellea. "Oh, over by the river side next to a down tree." Ariellea spoke about her small adventure to the line without thinking of her mom's reaction. "Ariellea! You know we aren't supposed to be out that way. Your farther would flip knowing you went there without him or your brother." The look on her face was terrified. "Don't you dear go back there without someone with you. I don't care how many cool doodads you found there could be this or that in your creations. Promise me you'll listen to me about this?" Ariella nodded sadly, but she had already hid the other things she found.
