IV: New Home

Hikaru's POV

Right now we're inside a car going to my new home...I mean our home. The rode to the house was silent the only one doing the talking is Oba-san. She is talking none stop from when we enter the car until now. Yamato is busy doing something in his phone. He'll look at us from time to time, to see what we're doing. Why are the ride so long. This is really awkward.

“Remember I want some great-grandchild soon” she winked at me.

Yamato turned to Oba-san sharply before raising his eyebrow. But he didn't say anything. While I blushing furiously. My god! I want to buried myself six feet under. How can she said that bluntly when this is just arrangement marriage. Don't get me wrong, she's a sweet elderly woman that look after her grandchild but she should remember that her grandchild is a full grown man.

“Oba-chan, please. You make Hikaru-san feel awkward and uncomfortable”.

Oba-san gasp while looking at me then Yamato wide eyes. She look at us like what Yamato just said is like he saying that he hate her. I just keep my mouth shut because I don't know what to say or to do in this kind of situation.

It took us almost 2 hours before we reach their house. I mean our house. I really need to get use to calling this house mine. Beside,I was supposed to be living here starting today. I walked out of the limousine after Yamato.

“Hikaru-chan, Ya-chan will show where you should be living in the house. So just follow him. I've something to do right now. We'll meet again for lunch. Sayonara~”.

I just nodded. She kiss both my cheek before walking away, leaving me alone with Yamato.

After Oba-san out of sight,Yamato look at me. “Come. I'll show you our room”.

I follow Yamato from behind. Everytime we meet a maid, their would bow their head in Yamato direction. But some of them would glared at me, while the other half just bow at me before walking away. I don't know why would they glared at me. Is something wrong with what I was wearing? I look down at my dress, but I didn't see anything wrong. I'm still wearing the wedding dress.

Because I was so deep in my thought I didn't realise Yamato has stop and I crash into his back. I blush. Yamato turned around to look at me.

“Something wrong Hikaru-san?”.

Hearing Yamato voice only make me blush harder “No...I...uh just thinking about something. I didn't pay attention where I'm walking”.

He just nodded before opening the door in front of him. I look over his shoulder and saw a room with an open door not a sliding door. I thought this was supposed to be traditional Japanese house. Guess I was wrong.

“Starting from today onward, this will be our room. My men has put all your stuff inside the room” Yamato walked inside with me behind him.

The room was bigger than my own apartment. It has it's own lounge room. A king size bed. There even a small stair from the lounge to the bed. There two other door. I guess it one was a bathroom and another one maybe a closet. I saw a slide door that lead to the outside. It was very spacious. A plasma TV hanging on the wall. People could mistake this as apartment than just a room.

When I heard Yamato cursed I look at him. Hissing at him is Kuro. Kuro is glaring at Yamato with his golden eyes.

“Kuro!” I pick him up. He purr and headbutt me. “I'm sorry if Kuro surprise you”.

Yamato closed the door before looking at me “You have a pet?”.

“Yeah. His name is Kuro. I hope you're okay with it” I'm still patting Kuro head as he purred from my touch. Once in awhile he would hissed at Yamato.

“No, I didn't mind just make sure to taught him to do his business outside. Talking about pet, I actually have my own pets. I hope you can get along with them. Because if you not...it would be a problem” Yamato walk to the slide door before sliding it open “Akari! Yama!”.

A snow white wolf jump out of nowhere and walked closer to Yamato. The wolf look at me titling his head. The crystal clear orb look really stunning. He as really beautiful.

Not far from it walked in a silky black fur wolf. Both of them was in the same size. When both of them stood beside Yamato, their height almost reach Yamato's torso. Their also have the same eyes colour. It really beautiful.

“Let me introduce them, the white one is Akari and Yama is the name for the black one. Their are my pets. Don't worry they will never harm you, if you did nothing worry. But beware never make them angry because they like to chew the bone of their victim. And they also can sense when you're afraid of them”.

O...okay. Should I be scare about that statement?

When I tried to walked closer to them both of them growl at me. But stop when Yamato shush them. Seems like they didn't like stranger. Which mean is me right now. In their eyes I'm a stranger.

“Um...I'm Hikaru”.

They walked closer to me and tilt their head before walking around me. Because I was scared, I didn't make any move. To be eaten by a wolf are not the first things I want to happen when I come to my new home. I didn't know that I would even see wolf up close while I was still breathing.

As they walked around me, they would sniffed and nudged my body. When they nudged me, I almost loss my balance. Yamato didn't do anything but look at me. His face didn't show what he's thinking right now. That make me worry. Would he just stood there as his pet eat me?

But then suddenly unexpected happen. Akari and Yama suddenly purred and rubbed themselves against my body. I didn't move a muscle because I'm confused right now. I never knew wolf could purred.

“Seem that you passed they test” Yamato voice brought me back to the present.

I look at Yamato, a smile grazed his lips but it vanish as soon as it appears. Maybe it was just my imagination because his pet scare me.

“What do you mean Inugami-san?”.

Yamato look at me and arched his eyebrow. I want to hide myself but Akari and Yami still rubbing themselves on me.

“First of all call me Yamato. When you call me Inugami it's like you're calling yourself. You do know that your name change the moment you sign the paper to Inugami Hikaru. Secondly, Akari and Yama accept you to live here. So don't worry they would never harm you. As long as you didn't piss them off”.

When I heard Yamato explanation I blush. He's right. My name change the moment I sign the paper. I didn't realise he keep calling me Hikaru and not Kaname like yesterday. But what make me happy is when Yamato said that his pet wouldn't eat me because they have accept me.

I just managed to give him a nodded. I look at the dress I'm wearing. I feel stuffed wearing this dress right now “Um... Inuga–I mean Yamato-san...where can I find my clothes? Wearing this dress is becoming uncomfortable”.

“Just go inside that door” he pointed at the door near the bed “You'll find all your clothes there” When he saw I didn't make any attempt to move he ask “Why are you not moving?”.

I rubbed the top of Akari and Yama head “Well...these guy didn't let me move”.

Yamato nodded and open the slide door before ordering Akari and Yama to get out. Kuro include. When they move away from me. I quickly when to the door Yamato pointed earlier. As I look for my clothes something come across my mind. Will I be in one piece after our contract marriage end?
