Happiness, it was an all consuming feeling that had risen inside her heart. There was so much to overcome, so much to fight against and a lot they had to protect. That didn't stop the stream of joy circling her heart.
Neve had a family again. She had Wolff.
Sitting on the thick tree branch, her back resting against the rough trunk Neve looked down at Our Wood a small smile carved into her face.
"Are you trying to give me a heart attack?"
Chuckling Neve smiled at Wolff who had eventually looked up into the trees to find her. He had been circling the same area his face contorted in confusion to where she could be.
"It took you long enough to find me." She remarked with a smile. "You sure know how to keep a woman waiting."
"I know, it's a wonder you put up with me." He smiled.
