Melo's pleading face , Mason's desperate face push the one thing I don't want.I tentively reach out my hand and place it on Maddox's shoulder waiting for him to turn around and slice me in half with his claws.

His body tenses at the slight touch of my hand and freezes completely. Like a switch ,he immediately drops Grace on the floor with a thud and steps back a little bit. Melo's shoulders relax as she smiles.Was this the best thing to do ?I look at Grace gasping and coughing loudly while holding her neck.
