Chapter 2: Ariella

The look in his dark brown eyes is enough to let me know that he is truly my mate. All my life I have been praying for a way out of this pack. The torment and mistreatment was too much to bare. I prayed for a mate that will always take care of me.

The whole pack house is completely quiet as they watch the Alpha grab my wrist tightly.He has a dark look in his eyes, a look I loathe.I drop my head to show submission and prepare myself to take whatever he is giving me.It's rare for an omega to be mated to a high ranking werewolf and when that happens.They are usually taken as a concubine or a breeder.I don't think I'm ready for any of that but I still take a deep breath for the inevitable.

"Ariella ,"Alpha Scott speaks with a frowns and pulls me a bit closer.

I hear the loud gasps of the pack members as they watch his every little move. Did this really have to happen Infront of these people.

"Yes Alpha ,"I respond quietly.

"What are your full names? "He asks.

"Ariella Winter ," I reply solemnly.

I peak through my eyelashes to see the disdain in his dark eyes.I never saw this coming but the pain starts to creep in my chest when I realize what he is about to do to me.

" I Alpha Scott Bridge of the Bridge Moon pack reject you Omega Ariella Winter as my mate ! "

Those words cut through my chest like a knife twisting me open and leaving me out to bleed. I have never ever felt so much pain in just one minute of my life. The whole room is silent and for the first time in my life I pray for the ground to swallow me up .

Alpha Scott wrinkles his nose in disgust as he steps closer to me. Tears drop down my face as his honey and pine scent fills my nostrils.I can already feel his dark prscening hovering over my body as he comes closer.

What did I do to deserve this ? I should have died the day I was born. All of my life I have been praying for a loving mate who would save me from the cruel treatment and suffering I go through daily but instead,Fate played a trick on me by giving me Alpha Scott.

Alpha Scott just took the position of Alpha today on his birthday. I can feel my chest tighten in pain as more tears drop down my face . Even though my eyes are on the ground. I can feel everyone's eyes on me right now. The judgement and mocking is to painful to endure.

" I'm not sorry I had to do this but you are far too weak to be my mate and you have no wolf and I don't understand why my father decided to keep you in our pack. You are useless!" He speaks with nothing but absolute irritation.

My legs fall down to the ground as I try to ignore the pain.The next thing I see is my Ex mate smirking as he takes Chloe's hand with tender and care.So all this was because of her ...

"Accept my rejection,"he growls and grabs the collar of my dress so tight,the fabric almost starts to rip .

" I ," a cough erupts from my chest as the pain of rejection starts to weaken my body. It's so hard to accept rejection when your heart is literally in pieces.

"I won't repeat myself Ariella ! Accept my f*****g rejection,"he growls angrily.

" I - Ariella- Winter ,"I stammer " Accept Your rejection. I'm no longer your mate ."

Immediately the words of acceptance leave my lips.The pain in my whole body starts to subsidise. I notice Alpha Scott fighting with his wolf silently as he takes in the pain very well.

"From now on ,"he says as he directs his gaze to Chloe with admiration,"I'm going to take Chloe Redford as my one and only official mate."

Suddenly,like a nightmare that I wish I never saw he pulls her into her arms and grazes his teeth on her neck with tenderness.Is he really going to mark her in front of everyone like this ? Marking is private and sacred but Alpha Scott doesn't seem to care at all. His canines extend as he pulls her neck closer and slowly sinks his teeth into her skin. Chloe whimpers and holds his arms tightly as the process continues. I shut my eyes in pain and turn away as my neck and chest burn up.

He pulls away from her and looks at the rest of the pack that is shocked bu the display. I can see the anger in my brother's eyes even though he is trying to act like he is indifferent meanwhile my sister is just smiling at the whole thing.

" I have officially marked Chloe and she is my one and only mate and she will take her place as the new Luna of our pack as,"he announces.

Loud cheers erupt from the pack members as they clap for the Alpha. My eyes bump into Chloe as she smirks at me with those beady eyes. I'm surprised that she is still standing even after marking her. I thought the beatings were nothing but this has been the worst and most painful moment of my life. My mate just marked someone else in my face. An act that is sacred and intimate.

"As for you Ariella,"he looks at me ," I want you to leave this pack right now.I'm banishing you from my pack ."

Tears flood my eyes at the weight of his words. I can still work and live as an omega. It doesn't matter how bad I get treated but to live as a rogue.That is so not possible because the minute I step into those woods,I'm going to die or get killed by the blood thirsty rogues.My mind races as I think about the feral wolves such as the alpha that had lost his insanity and killed hundreds of wolves.I won't survive for one second.

"Please Alpha ," I plead as tears stream down my face," I will do anything but don't kick me out."

"Are you trying to talk back to my mate ,"Chloe interrupts me with a loud voice and shoves me back to the ground.

"You b***h ! "She screeches and hits my head while digging her long nails in my skin!" You are useless and pathetic.Your exile is something you should be thankful for because you are a worthless- "

She doesn't complete her sentence when she hits me again and again.My ears ring as I fall down to the ground in pain while holding my stomach. It's true I'm completely weak and worthless and no one will ever love me!

" Chloe that's enough,"Alpha Scott growls angrily and steps in front of me. Chloe backs away in confusion when she looks at the Alpha's unexpected stance.

I don't know why he is doing this but when he looks back at me.His eyes immediately turn into disgust as he tries to cover up the look of possessiveness.

" She is too worthless for such attention. Let the guards take her out ,"he orders and steps away from me like I smell horribly.

Chloe smirks as the guards proceed to lift me from the ground since my body is too weak to move it's on. The lack of food and the beatings have taken a toll on my body.

"Bye b***h, I hope the rogues tear you to pieces ,"she smiles as she grabs a lock of my hair and twirls It with disgust.

"Chloe ,"I whimper as my eyes narrow on the mark that Alpha Scott gave her.Fresh tears resurface as I try not to cry.I truly wish had a wolf to give me strength.

She dangerously inches her mouth close to my ear and whispers to me before they carry me off ," Don't worry , I will take care of my mate while you get ripped apart by blood thirsty rogues ! "

Even though I'm going to die in the woods. I take a deep breath as the anger I have never felt before erupts from my chest. I clench my hand weakly and turn my face to look at her.I open my mouth to speak but instead of words only a weak cry comes out of my mouth. I realize that I don't have the courage or strength to speak back. I'm just an omega.My shoulders sag as I get dragged out by the guards until they throw me outside the border.

My body hits the edge of the clif and rolls down the slope like a sack of potatoes. I scream and shout helplessly as twigs and sharp stones pierce through my skin. I hug myself tightly as I try to save myself only for my back to hit a tree. Pain radiates through my body as I gasp for air. This is the part where I die. I open my eyes and look at the blurry leaves of the trees and sky.

"ohh goodness,"I whisper as I try to get up.

My knees buckle as I gather my strength to walk and that's when the horror begins. A pair of red eyes that belong to a rogue emerge from the darkness of the forest.
