After Catherine finished dressing and fixing herself, she picked up her phone from the bedside table and tucked it into her sling bag. She headed downstairs and made a quick detour to the kitchen to say goodbye to Lily and the staff, not wanting them to worry if she disappeared without a word.
"Oh, Ma’am Catherine," Lily said as Catherine entered the kitchen. "Are you heading out?" she asked, noticing how dressed up Catherine was.
Catherine nodded with a small smile. "Yes, Lily. I’m meeting a friend," she replied. "I’ll be having lunch out as well, so there's no need to cook for me."
"Alright. Please take care out there," Lily told her kindly.
"Thank you. I'll head out now," Catherine said before leaving the kitchen and stepping out of the mansion.
