"Come in," Travis called out after hearing a soft knock on his office door. A moment later, the door opened and his secretary entered. "Sir, your coffee," Chris said. "Put it here, Chris," Travis instructed without glancing up, his attention remaining fixed on his computer screen. He heard Chris’s footsteps approach until the cup was placed on his desk. "Anything else you need, Sir?" Chris asked. "No more." "Then I'll be heading out, Sir," Chris replied. Travis gave a sharp nod. Once Chris had left, he picked up the cup for a sip. His gaze unintentionally drifted to the cellphone lying on his desk. He felt a sudden urge to pick it up and make a call, but he forced his focus back to the computer.
