"What is it you worry about my dear?" I heard Thomas enter the room and close the door from behind.
Since he took over as Alpha, he has always been busy, going from one meeting to the other.
Sometimes I think he's just trying to avoid me now, whether it's guilt or some love left for his Trish, which I'm not certain about.
Though, there is still some opposition among people concerning Trisha's banishment.
My mind has not been at peace since the scouts I sent to retrieve her body from the woods where she was killed came back with flimsy stories.
They said wild animals must have eaten her remains, but my mind tells me she's still alive and this alone keeps me thinking every day.
I fear some of the Elders may send out scouts for her and try to reinstate the b***h.
