I saw the confusion turn to understanding before the fear, which from understanding her predicament, settled on her face.
"Loren, there is a Deimos in the kitchen now and I think Talia is around too," I mind-linked Loren.
It came so easily I was surprised that I communicated into his mind without using the pack's mind link.
We would think about that another day, if we got to survive this.
