Trishal’s POV
"I think we should leave the Lord Alpha to enjoy the rest of his evening," Thomas spoke up with a slightly shaky voice, sensing Loren wasn't in a good mood. He gave a brief nod as they excused themselves.
"Hey?" I lifted my head from his shoulder, sniffing slightly. I couldn't remember burying my head in his shoulder nor when I started getting emotional.
“Are you fine?" he held my face in his palm, caressing it slightly. There was a look of concern on his face, and I looked away, turning my head to the side. I didn't want to believe it was real.
“I'm good," I nodded energetically, trying to sound as fine as I could manage.
“We can go back home if you want," my gaze returned to him swiftly.
"You'd do that for me?” I asked, feeling quite puzzled.
