The following day, as Mike was attending to customers, Peter rushed into the coffee shop, “Dude!” he whispered to Mike while standing close to the counter. “Did you catch up with the news?” Peter asked sternly in a low tone. “What news are you talking about?” Mike replied with curiosity. “Those fishermen that saved you were found dead in their apartment,” said Peter. On hearing this, Mike unconsciously drops the glass kettle he was carrying, “What!” he exclaimed expressing shock. “How the hell did this happen?” Mike asked with curiosity. “I have no f*****g idea dude,” Peter replied. “We need to go check it out,” said Mike as he wipes his hand with a hand tower. “Are you insane, the police are all over their apartment carrying out investigation,” said Peter. “We can't go there now, it’s a crime scene,” Peter added. “What the hell is going on here and who broke my glass kettle?” Mr. Luke asked on walking in on Mike and Peter. “I am sorry sir but I may have to pay for the kettle,” Mike replied with a sad look on his face. “What’s going on here, are you not supposed to be working today rather than discussing?” Mr. Luke asked as he glances at Mike with a weird look. “Of course, let me take the customers’ order,” said Mike as he picked up a jotter and makes his way to the customers' table. “Don’t you have somewhere to go or what?” Mr. Luke asked with his eyes fixed on Peter. “Oh! My bad,” said Peter as he quickly turned to leave. “See you later Mike,” said Peter giving Mike a half-wave. “Alright buddy, see you later,” Mike replied. Walking back to his car, he noticed Jake leaning on his car, “What are you doing here Jake?” Peter asked glaring at him. “I don’t know what s**t is going on here but frankly speaking, I need to know what Christie said about your friend is true or not,” Jake replied. “Why not you find out yourself, huh! Perhaps you could pick a fight with Mike and get your ass kicked,” Peter replied. “Now if you don’t mind, I have somewhere to be,” Peter added as he places his hand on the door handle of his car. “You are not going anywhere until I am cleared,” said Jake as he knocked out Peter from behind. Looking around, as no one was watching, he quickly dragged Peter into his car. “Let’s see what’s gonna happen asshole,” said Jake as he drove off with Peter’s car.  Later in the day, Mike was on his way home when he came across Christie, “Hey!” said Christie with smiles on her face. “Hey!” Mike replied. “I was heading to your place to see you,” she said still smiling. “Hope all is well?” Mike asked without hesitation. “Sure, all is well,” Christie replied. “How about your boyfriend Silas, hope he’s getting better?” Mike asked sternly. “Yeah, he is but not here to talk about him though. I am here to talk about us,” Christie added as she draws closer to Mike. “I don’t want your boyfriend to be angry seeing us together, I gat to go now,” Mike replied as he turned to leave. “Please don’t go,” said Christie as he held Mike by the hand. “What exactly do you want us to talk about huh?” Mike asked sternly as he gazes at Christie with surprise. “I can’t resist you anymore,” Christie said putting her head down with a soft smile. “I thought you are with Silas why saying this to me now?” Mike asked as he noticed the vibration of his phone. “Excuse me, I have to take this call,” he said bringing out his phone from his pocket. Checking the caller’s name he quickly picked up the call, “Hey Peter, where have you been?” he said. “This is not Peter asshole,” Jake said over the phone. “Jake? What the hell are you doing with Peter’s phone?” Mike asked with curiosity. “Everyone is now seeing you as a hero but that’s not possible. Until I see reasons to I will not see you that way. So if you wanna see your best friend again, come to my grandpa’s old boat by the rocky side of the shore,” Jake said. “What the hell is going on can I speak to my friend?” Mike asked. “You get to speak with him when you get here and if I don’t see you soon, I will just throw him into the water,” Jake threatened as he ended the call. “Oh f**k!” Mike exclaimed. “What’s the matter?” Christie asked with curiosity. “I gat to go now,” said Mike. “You mind if I come?” Christie asked. “It’s not safe, go be with your boyfriend,” Mike replied running off. At the clinic, Silas regained his strength as he drags himself up from his bed. Looking around he asked one of the nurses, “Have anyone seen my girlfriend?” “She just left an hour ago,” one of the nurses replied. “Oh s**t!” Silas exclaimed. “Can you help me with your phone, let me call her, please?” Silas politely asked putting up a fake smile. “Of course,” the nurse replied as he approaches Silas with her phone. As Mike walked into the old boat, Jake from behind knocked him down and started kicking him continuously, “Let’s see what you can do asshole!” said Jake as he continued kicking Mike who was lying on the floor of the boat. Not quite long as this was happening, the boat began to float into the deep waters, “What the hell is wrong with you, you will get us all killed,” said Peter as he struggles to loosen his bonds. “Can’t you see the boat is floating away and from the look of things this damn boat doesn’t work anymore?” Peter yelled at Jake. “Keep your f*****g mouth shut!” Jake rashes at Peter. Walking back to Mike who was still lying on the floor, the boat began to rotate rapidly as fear gripped Jake and Peter, “What the hell!” Jake exclaimed. “Mike, are you the one doing this?” Peter asked with his eyes fixed on Mike. “This is not my doing,” Mike said as he held a sofa close to him dragging himself up. “Then who the hell is doing this s**t if not you?” Peter asked feeling terrified. “I am!” said Zeo as he walks into the boat with flashes of lighting covering him.
