Why did she bring it up? Was her nightmare about that? I watched as Jason sat by her side stroking her hand with the pad of his thumb as the doctor patched her open wounds again. I just sat at the other side of the room deep in thought. Her face - man, it just broke me from the inside out. She was genuinely scared of us. What had happened in that dream that got her so spooked? Everything was fine. We had a great night. We moved past first base with her. She fell asleep and we were all actually cuddling. That dream had really had to be something for her to act that way.
