After training, we headed back to the packhouse. The need to be close to Jennifer burned a fire under my ass. I couldn't believe we'd eventually marked and mated with Jennifer. On our way back, the most delicious scent sent my senses on overdrive. Sunflowers and Iris. Jennifer was close, but what was she doing up so early? Also, what was she doing outside this time of the morning? I would have thought that she would at the very least be inside having breakfast or coffee or something. As I rounded the gardens, I saw Jennifer sitting by herself under the gazebo. I walked over to the gazebo and saw that she was wearing her new sunglasses. Why would she wear sunglasses? I mean, the sun isn't even out yet? I crashed down beside her with Jarrod and John quickly following my queue.
