I stood there in front of the whole floor while Mr. Dickenson took his sweet time introducing me.
"Good day all! As you know, we have a newly appointed CFO. This is Miss. Jennifer Greyston. I hope that all of you will treat her with the respect that she deserves and I am sure all of you will be able to work together as a unit. Trust me when I say this ... she is most probably the nicest person who's been appointed in this position!" Mr. Dickenson said, giving a quick introduction.
I just smiled as I greeted all of the staff members working under me, making short conversations and honestly just trying my best to remember all of their names.
