Jason and I sat on the couch waiting for more news about Jarrod. Jennifer was luckily still fast asleep, no doubt her tiny body was too exhausted to handle all the things that happened. Jason decided not to tell anyone about Jarrod being rushed to surgery again. I just leaned back and rested my hand on Jennifer's thigh. This suspenseful waiting was on its way to slowly kill me. As I sat there with my eyes closed sending small prayers up to the Moongoddess herself the doctor luckily came it. "Alphas, could I perhaps have a word outside?" the doctor asked nodding his head to the door. I let go of Jennifer's thigh and stood up, following Jason and the doctor outside. "How is he doing?" Jason immediately asked as I closed the door behind me.
