As soon as John linked us that Jennifer was awake and responsive, it was as if we couldn't get to the pack hospital fast enough. Jason was sprinting through the hallways, nearly bumping into a few omegas on the way. We barged into Jennifer's room, making her jump as John tried to hold her securely.
"f*****g hell!" I muttered as I dashed toward her, taking her out of John's arms and holding her tightly against me. "I'm so happy to see you awake Starshine! Don't you ever, and I mean, EVER, do something like that to us again!" I said, holding her tiny body close to mine, savoring the feeling of relief that flooded through me.
I looked over to the doorway and saw Jason just standing there, staring at the three of us.
