Sitting at this ridiculous Alphas meeting felt like a personal waste of time. we sat for hours on end, discussing pack alliances and threats. Word has managed to travel about Tamaryn and her shenanigans, putting the GarnetMoon pack under the magnifying glass with the council.
Seeing as rogues were involved, it posed an immediate threat to other packs as well. my phone buzzed in my pocket, flipping it open, I saw it was a text from Rick. That was weird ... he usually never texted me when at meetings like this. Wasn't he supposed to help Jennifer out with her parents?
I quickly opened the text and even my blood ran cold, reading it
"Alpha, the Luna's father is pissed the f**k off! I'm scared he's going to set the place alight! His scales are even starting to show!"
