Somehow, I ended up at Gail’s house that night.
Soaked to my underwear, I stood at the door crying when she opened the door, without saying a word, she ushered me in.

“I feel like my life is falling apart. Everything is happening to me at once and I can’t help but think Karma is punishing me for deserting my dad when he needed me the most,”.
