Emily’s POV I looked terrible. I had a terrible night and right now, I was falling apart. I tried to maintain a positive mind as I walked into the M. Spencer’s building that morning. “Good morning, Emily,” Adam rushed to me with a notebook clutched to his chest as usual “I’ve been trying to get you all morning,” he complained. “Really?” my hands reached inside the bag that was swung on my shoulders and began to search for my phone frantically “I hope I didn’t forget it at home. Did it ring? You would have at least left a message in my voicemail,”. “Your line was switched off, as in, turned off,” Adam rolled his eyes “I need you to focus, Emily. I can’t afford to have you like this on such an important as this. Given your history with messing things up, I need you to at least be…”.
