"What do you mean you're going to call Mom? You cannot ask her about Aunt Pat. If you do and she's involved, it'll tip her off!" Angela stood behind her desk, palms on the surface, yelling at her sister in a stern whisper. They still had too many questions that needed answers. It'd be a considerable risk if they gambled and lost. Angelica sat upright in her chair, not used to being yelled at.
"Oh! No, you misunderstand." Angelica had no intention of asking their mom any questions about their respective cases. "I'm going to ask her and Dad to visit. I've been putting it off because it requires a sacrifice from you." Angela sat back down with a suspicious look on her face.
"Why would it take a sacrifice," asked Angela. Angelica chewed her lip, contemplating how to broach the subject.
