Jameson knew he had Janice beaten when she turned away from him and pulled out her phone. She dialed a number and put her phone on speaker. To their surprise, Christian answered. Janice was going scorched earth now. She would drag everyone to Hell with her if she were going down.
"Janice," Christian's tone was cool and disrespectful. His unexpected behavior caused Janice to hesitate for a moment, but her anger pushed her forward. In a harsh, shrill screech, Janice told Christian everything Angelica had told her at the nail salon. She told him how Angelica had cheated on him, how she was pregnant with that man's child, and how she planned to lie to Christian about it and make him help her raise it. Janice hadn't stopped to recall that just last night, her daughter was sipping on red wine.
