Everything seemed like a joke to her, but as the minutes hours passed and her Mother had still not come to tell her that she was only joking, Anna knew as much as she hated this to be true, it was right. She had pulled her knees to her chest and was staring vacantly at the wall in her room. Her mind was blank as she couldn’t think straight to what she should do.
