Chapter Three

Ryan came to the venue and saw Delilah. “Ryan you are here” Delilah said.
Delilah: Ryan do you remember you used to hold my hand while we walk, why don't you do it now?
Delilah brought the hands of Ryan from his pocket and say
“Can we still be together? You will get divorce soon. I want to thank Ava for throwing you to me. It's all her fault, if it weren't not for her, we won't be apart for so long.” She fake a cry and hugged him to gain his pity.
Ryan recall how Ava told him to go through the divorce formalities and stay with who he likes.
He pushed Delilah immediately
“You broke up with me, the Lee’s and the Theo's marriage, what does this have to do with Ava?” Ryan said.
“How could you speak for her? (Does it mean he has fallen for her?) Delilah thinks in her mind.
Rowan came to the place with a file and gave it to Ryan.
“Ryan look, this is sent by Ava's lawyer, said it's a compensation for the three years engagement.” Rowan said
“What does she thinks I am. A mere 100 million and she wants me to let go of the Theo family, let me forgive her? In her dreams.!!!!” Ryan angrily said.
(Hospital)
“Miss. You have been diagnosed with severe depression. The auditory system is also gradually deteriorating distance deafness. I'm afraid there's only one month left.” The Doctor diagnosed Ava.
Ava asked the doctor if there is no other way to cure her.
“I'm afraid No. I suggest that before you lose your hearing, you'd better listen to the voice of people you love for future purpose.” The doctor said
The doctor asked Ava if she came alone and ask about her family and friends.
Ava recalls.
Mother: How did I give birth to something like you?
Brother: Let's give her to the 80yrs old man to marry.
Husband: I don't love you at all.
Father: I can't bear to part with you my child.
Ava told the doctor her only family has passed away. “It's going to rain. I'm leaving”. She left.
She came to her Nanny's house. “Ava dear, you are back.” The nanny welcome her.
Nanny serve Ava with a bowl of dumplings “eat it while is hot. You use to love it when you were little.”
“Nanny. Don't stress yourself, please sit down.” The woman sat close to Ava.
She asked Ava how Ryan is treating her now. And why did she suddenly came back.
“Nanny. Ryan is very kind to me, just that I miss you so much, so I came to check up on you” Ava faking a smile and tells the nanny.
“That's very good” the woman said.
Ava asked the woman to fill her another bowl of dumplings. She don't get enough of her dumplings.
The Nanny went to get another bowl in the kitchen. Ava left an envelope on the table and left. When the nanny came back and didn't find Ava. She starts to cry because she knew something is wrong and Ava is just putting on a strong face.
The Nanny call Ryan on phone
“Hello. I was the woman who took care of Ava since she was a child, I beg you, can you stop hurting Ava?
“What do you mean?” Ryan asked.
“Ava is not as strong as she appears, when she was born. Mrs Theo disliked her because of her weak hearing and leave her in my care. She was taken back when she grew up.
In the Theo Family except for Mr Theo, everyone else treat her like a servant. She has called me countless time secretly and say “Nanny I don't want to be Miss Theo, I want to go home and be your daughter”. You and her father is the most important person she cherish. I beg you please be nice to Ava. She grew up too humble that's why she is wronged.”. The Nanny narrated on the phone crying….
Ryan: “it was yesterday she humiliated me with money. Now it's a sad fishing. What does how Ava looks has to do with me? She deserves it all. *Hang call*
Ava you brought this upon yourself.”
Nanny recall when Ava told her Ryan is kind to her, she start to cry.
“My child. You still told me how good Ryan is to you.”
Ryan sent a message to Ava. (Don't hurry to divorce. See you at 10AM tomorrow).
Ava weep bitterly and replied “Okay”.

THE BAR..
Ryan received the response from Ava and said lemme see how long you can last.
“Ryan. How is that little deaf girl doing recently?” Rowan asked
“Don't mention about us again. We are getting divorce tomorrow.” he replied.
Delilah is excited and pour a glass of wine to celebrate the rebirth of Ryan.
“Ryan. There was a car accident when Aunt(Mrs Lee) and I went to find you. It was Delilah who risked her life to save us. Do you remember?” Rowan ask…
“I remember” Ryan…..
“Since then you have been with Delilah. It's all that shameless deaf little girl that is getting involved. After this divorce you have to treat our Delilah well.” Rowan said to Ryan.
Delilah:: “Rowan. You don't have to say these things. It's enough for me to be by Ryan's side.”
Ryan gently touched the hand of Delilah and say “I won't treat you badly”.
*Butterflies fluttering in Delilah’s belly.*
Delilah thinking in her mind.
“Ava you'd better disappear like this. I will never let Ryan and Rowan know that, it was you who save the people”.
Ryan is drunk. Delilah help him to the car and said “ you drank too much, let me take you back home.”
“I don't need it, thanks.” Ryan respond
Delilah asked why he refused her.
“I'm divorcing tomorrow but Ava might come back.” Ryan said.
Delilah:: “you and Ava are getting a divorce. Are you afraid she will know about us?”
Ryan:: “About us!!!? You think too much. I will have someone drive you back home.”
Ryan order his driver to drive.
Delilah couldn't hold her temper,
“Ava you deaf little thing. You are getting divorce but is still hooking Ryan. Just wait for me!!”
Delilah ca
lls Rowan on phone and pretend to be hurt and cries.
“Rowan. Ava is still pestering Ryan. What should I do?”
