The moon bled through the clouds as I stormed through the trees, my claws already coated in blackened vampire blood. The air was thick with the stench of rotting flesh, the sharp scent of wolfsbane lingering faintly. My wolf snarled within me, restless, wild.
They dared.

Snarling, I ripped through another vampire who lunged from the trees. Its scream was short-lived, my claw slicing its throat like warm butter. The creature dropped with a heavy thud, twitching as black blood pooled around it.
