Skyla The sun lit my lids up as I slowly opened my eyes, I smiled to myself as I felt the ocean breeze blow across my face from the open window. My arms reached across the bed and stretched, as a yawn escaped my lips. My whole body froze when I realized I was in my bed, I was alone, and there wasn't a sound in the house. Tears filled the brims of my eyes, as I traced my lips with my fingers, I could still feel his lips on mine, I could still see those amber eyes staring at me holding every emotion he ever felt in them. I couldn't hold back any longer, I face planted in my pillow and let the tears fall. It had all been a dream, maybe it was someone's sick way of letting me have my wish, if nothing else, for at least my birthday. All the words he had spoken
