The week went by quickly, I ditched Laney at her apartment, rescheduled the meeting with the editor for Friday and told Terrance to put all my meetings on hold till next week. I ran one of the largest multi business enterprises in the world, I was worth billions and pretty much untouchable, I made a vow I would never stoop as low as my father. Terrance was the vice-president so to speak; he was the face of the company and backed me up when I needed a few days like this week called for. Sometime through the week I had torn the apartment apart trying to find something I could charge those phones on, and to my luck, I didn't have anything at the end of my pillaging except for a large mess.
