My grip tightened on my bag strap. Ryker shifted beside me, the lines of his body going hard. His jaw set. "Walk away." Flat. Final. The kind of tone that didn't offer a second chance. Tracy laughed softly, tossing her hair. "Touchy." Carmen leaned in just enough for her perfume to reach me, that same sweet, cloying scent I'd walked into my destroyed room smelling.
