The Powerholders

Chapter11:

Somewhere near England.

"Ah, movement I see. Legions tread on bloodstained flags as fire fills the sky. Water turns to vapor, stone to sand and sand to glass. A fiery devil laughs, a ball in one hand and a whip in the other. His eyes glowing with flames spies ahead like a needle shot through water. A red moon, tainted in foreign blood from elsewhere will signal the end of a world. In front of it all there stands a red man wielding a golden staff and clothed in a silver cloak with three gems embedded in it. One blue, one purple and one green. He will be the judge. His choice will either spare or render worlds."

And with that an old lady behind a glowing glass ball passes out. A few faceless men in suits drag her out of the room.

A woman covered in black clothing and with a veiled face sits and taps nervously with her foot on the ground.

"And ALL of them say the same?"

Another faceless man turns his head toward her and answers with an echoing, hollow voice.

"Yes, it is confirmed."

"Well. Do we understand it yet?"

"We know a lot of it already seeing as this is not the first one."

"Yeah, yeah cut to the chase already!"

"Understood. The first part details the monster wave we have been anticipating..."

"Hmm, yes good."

"... the second part describes where, how and what will be affected and in which order..."

"Good we can work with that."

"The devil we think here refers to a monster from the gate that most likely surpasses SS and Unique Classed Powerholders."

"That is worrisome."

"And as mentioned most likely possesses the ability of foresight."

"Now that is a problem, since it could foresee all our plans and their individual outcomes."

"It did mention a needle through water, meaning it is imperfect."

"At the very least. Go on."

"The red moon is most likely an indication of a light or something that will be visible when either our or another world is destroyed. This might indicate that we are not alone in this apocalypse and can have allies or enemies in a foreign galaxy."

"Great, aliens and monsters."

The Red Judge, as we have ID'ed him. Is most likely the creator of this war or apocalypse. And is most likely among us and in need of certain items in order to judge us."

"Ok, but this should be easy, we just need to look for it. Can clairvoyance find it?"

"I am afraid not."

"Agh! Fine! Manual search it is!"

"We do know that it is on Earth and they or it is a Powerholder."

"Good, makes it easier then. Start the search."

"Affirmative."
