CHAPTER THREE

“I thought we promised not to keep secrets dear,did we not?” My mother said,the moment I stepped foot into the house.
“......Yes we did,Mum.”I replied.
“So why did you lie to me yesterday?”
“Lied…nothing happened at school.”
“Okay then you must have an explanation for whatever Lois had told me today.”
Lois came out from under the stairwell.
“Honey,Lois here told me that earlier this week,you've been experiencing terrible headaches, your ears have been ringing loudly, and you survived a silver nitrate incident without burns or reactions.”
“Mum,I didn't want to bother you with unserious stuff,I already took some pills for the headache and ringing,they're gone now and as for the silver incident,it was just pure luck.”
“Let me see your palm.”My mother said.
I hesitated but eventually brought her hand forward.
“As expected,”My mother said.
“Lois, can I see you in my room for a minute?” I asked.
“Sure.”
We both went upstairs to my room.
“As much as you are my bestfriend,you had no right to come to my house and tell my mom stuff about me.”
“I had to,If I didn't tell her,would you have told her?”
“And don't you think I have my reasons for not.”
“Your mother is worried about you Ria.”
“Okay fine,you've told her,what did she do about it huh,my head is still banging,my ears are still ringing,my body is still changing,she did nothing,what was the purpose of telling her. I growled,all my veins had popped out,my eyes were silver and my fangs grew long.
Lois was frightened and ran out of the room.
“Lois!Lois.” My mother called.
“She's changing.”Lois said and bolted out of the house.
Aria's mother went upstairs.
“I want to be alone,”Aria said calmly.
Aria's mother left the room and went downstairs to make a call.
MIDNIGHT
I couldn't sleep,so I decided to use that opportunity to get warm milk from the kitchen.
I began hearing whispers coming from my father's study. I quietly placed her ear on the door.
“Luke,I saw it.”My mother, Jenna said.
“Wait..you mean you saw the ancestral crest of the silver blooded wolf on her palm.”
“Yes I did.”
“I thought you said,she hadn't started to bloom.”
“Turns out she has,for the past one week,Lois revealed that to me today.”
“Oh my God,what are we going to do now?”
“I'd have to inform the moon runner.”
“
That's a good idea,but we still have to prepare for anything. I don't think we are as strong as we were 13 years back.”
“Honestly I hope I can protect her like I did before.”
I withdrew herself from the door. Everything I just heard all sounds funny to me. I went back to my room,grabbed a book from my shelf and sat down beside the window to read.
I was flipping to the next page,when I heard howls of wolves,I looked out the window and saw gold lights glistening outside,the lights looked more like eyes,I squinted and moved closer to the window and almost immediately,the eyes vanished into the wind.
I drew back but i kept staring into the woods.
What was that? Weird things are happening lately that i don't even know about.
"Soon enough you'll learn about yourself." A voice said,and a white,furry,light illuminated wolf emerged from behind the shelves.
Fear gripped me,I ransacked the table to find anything I could use as a weapon.
I grabbed a pencil and waved it in front of the wolf.
"Go away.....get away from me,you feral cat." I whimpered.
"Come on now,what harm is a pencil going to do to me." The wolf said and smacked the pencil out of my hands.
The wolf laid down and the floor and stretched her forelimbs,it was getting comfortable I think.
"My name is Olya,your wolf,spirit animal guide,and many more." Lila said.
"Okay Olya,what are you doing here?" I asked the fear still a little bit evident in my eyes.
"Like I said,you don't need to be afraid of me,I'm your animal spirit guide and I'm here to help you out and also take orders from you." Olya said and turned around.
"Okay.."
"Don't you have any food here,I'm starving. I've been asleep for 13 years,I need to reenergize my body or I wont be strong enough to help you." Olya groaned.
I reached into my cupboard and pulled out an energy bar.
"Would this help?" I asked and waved the chocolate bar in front of her.
"Chocolate?? Well for starters,but you need to get me something stronger later on."
"You said something about animal spirit guide,that means you'd follow me everywhere right?"
"Yes everywhere,since the day you were born and I became your spirit guide,I have always followed you. "
"So how come I've never seen you until now." I asked.
"Well your powers have been dormant for 13 years and so has your inner eyes,when your powers awakened so did they,but for your own safety,I suggest you don't tell anyone about me."

“Aria's powers are starting to manifest,Lois heard her growl and almost transformed.” Aria's mother said to a strange woman.
“That was fast,I thought she was a late bloomer.”
“Turns out she has been hiding her changes from me.”
“Well okay,obviously the elders are going to be aware that a silver blooded descendant has bloomed,we'd have to sneak her into the wolf clan and hide her there till we figure out what to do next.”
“Okay,I'll inform Luke about it.”
“Better do,the gates are going to be open again until the day after tomorrow at midnight.”
“We will be there. Inform the others.”
“At least you are living up to Lila's reputation,but if you get her daughter in danger,I can't say what would happen to you dear.” The strange woman said and whooshed away.
“Nothing would happen to her,not on my watch at the very least tho.”
“Okay.”Her voice lingered in the air.
