Fingers crossed. Lips pressed in a thin line. Her legs jumpy as she waited in the almost silent corridors. The low sounds of the wheels being turned from one place to another and the ding of the elevators kept her eyes roaming with no tears spilt. Yet her skin was covered in tear stains. The white walls and bright lights brought back memories she had been trying to suppress.
