CHAPTER 3
Katie stretched her sore body as she slowly open her eyes and glanced across the bed to find it empty. He left. She thought. She laid there a few more minutes listening to her body, and for the first time in weeks, she couldn't feel the buzz of her desire, no tingles suggesting that she needed to sate her inner desires, no burning in her p***y and no hot flashes. She felt satisfied, but she also knew that her monster was just satisfied for now, in a few days, she'll have to go to another place or bar and scout out for a new conquest.
Thinking of a new conquest had her mind drifting to Jake and his muscular arms. Oh how she loved being handled by those huge arms and wide palms, how she loved the feeling of her small body being flipped, turned and constantly bent in between those arms. She felt like she was in a safe cocoon of strong maleness.
Katie suddenly shot out of bed. Again? Had she just thought of having a man again? That can't be right. That would mean she desired a man for more than one night. She has never desired any man for more than a few hours. She got rid of her men every night before she slept. Maybe it's because she let him sleep in her bed, again she's never let a man take a rest next to her. Katie’s eyes widened even farther as the true picture of what was happening registered. But she cannot be attached, and lucky her, her conquest had already left. Three days from now she'll find a new one and strictly follow her own damn rules. Feelings were a mess.
"Alexa, play (bathroom song)
She threw the covers and headed for the bathroom. She brushed her teeth singing along to (artist name) and her body felt lighter that the previous day. It was Saturday, and her Saturdays were usually spent doing whatever her body felt like doing. She never made plans for Saturdays, because she had varying moods every Saturday. And today she felt like nature. She wanted to take a much needed walk through the city, eat cabs, and go ice skating. It's been long since she did that, and she felt like it. Oh, and shop random things. How exciting.
Katie hopped into the shower and washed down last night with her strawberry shampoo as she sang. The shower was quick, and getting dressed was even quicker, she was headed out and she couldn't wait. She wore a blue jeans with a nice red t-shirt paired with red vans. Her locks held up in a tight ban and made her way downstairs. She felt like eating a hefty serving of eggs, bread and coffee.
'Alexa, play I Just Had Sex."
She made her way downstairs as she swayed her hips and hopped down the steps. She stepped into the kitchen doing a backwards Michael Jackson glide. She went right to the stove to turn it on and stretched her hand to grab the pan only to stop midway. The pan was actually already on the stove with already cooked eggs. She abruptly turned around to find Jake looking intently at her.
"Alexa, cut the music!"
"I definitely had s*x too; I want to listen to that song too you know." Katie looked straight at a smiling half naked Jake.
"You're here. You never left."
“As I recall, you were to have your driver drop me off and..." Jake raised his shoulders to emphasize his point.
Katie stared at the man she believed she was never to see again and felt her s*x heat. No.
"Oh, yeah. Right. Lemme call him, he'll drop you off right away." Katie moved across the island to her phone and began to call Isha but a large hand covered hers before she could press the call button. She shuddered but managed to look back at Jake without swooning. Again! This never happens. She usually can't wait to get rid of them.
“It’s a Saturday, I have no work today. I'd like to take you out on a date." Jake threw the words out like he was chancing everything to fate. Katie's eyes nearly popped out.
"Please. I know what you are thinking. I also can see that this is probably not what you usually do, but last night.... I've never had a night like that, honestly. You are an epiphany. And I'd really like the opportunity to um, date you. You bring out a person in me, and believe it or not, last night was the first time I felt normal. Everything I did pleased you, that has never happened to me before. Please." Jake pinched the bridge of his nose and kicked himself for being such a girl. But when he saw her start to shake her head no, he couldn't let her just cast him away like that.
"I don't date." Katie whispered.
"What is it you do?" Jake looked at her astonished. In all his years women wanted to date men like him. Obviously because of his social class and name, but all wanted to date him just to be seen with him.
"I f**k, Jake." Jake smile broadened.
"We can do that too, you know, a lot." He smirked as he ran the tip of his fingers along her back. Something he realized she like in her sleep. Every time he stroked her back, she'd scoot closer to him and mourn with contentment. He wasn't letting her go just yet, he wanted to feel more of her. This woman was aware of her body.
Katie eyelids fluttered closed as she felt Jake’s fingers leave a trail of goose bumps on her skin. She really was reacting to his touch. She liked being touched by those hands, and her succubus wasn't bored by this male yet, so why not keep exploring him, besides there are aspects of him she believed she could manipulate enough to get what she wants. The fire in his eyes last night could be put to use.
"Let's hangout and f**k. You can take me out, but not on dates. How does that sound?"
"It's enough. For now. I made you breakfast, you look ready to head out, where were you off to, I could tag along,"
"Ice skating." She said.
Jake turned back to the stove, a plate in hand and served Katie a generous plate of eggs and two sausages and sat close to her with his own plate. He found that he liked being close to her. Her body called his, and that felt alien to him, but he liked it.
"Alex Play my Boomplay playlist."
The two of them sat on Katie's kitchen Island taking in how their one night had completely changed the course of their next morning. Early morning sun rays bathed the kitchen, so many flowers could be seen outside the kitchen window. Katie loved flowers, that's why. She loved the morning freshness, always wanted to wake up to a sun kissed kitchen with beautiful blooms to look at, and she did exactly that. A dream come true. Everything in her house was a dream come true. She dreamed for years about how her house would be and when she finally made it, which was her first task, build herself a home. Jake was yet to know how much of a sacrifice having him here was. She loved her space, and loved nobody in her space.
The skating ring that morning was wasn't yet so flooded. That why she came early morning, they'll just stay for a few hours before many people arrived. They both changed into their skates and headed into the ice ring, ready to show off their skating skills.
"How long have you been skating." Jake asked.
"It's been like 4 years, and you?" Katie placed her left hand behind her back and began her routine and Jake followed her doing the same.
"Ten. Six to be exact. Some years ago I stopped." He said, rather sadly.
"Why?"
"My hobbies were becoming a hindrance to becoming a perfect son, I wanted to skate for life and my father wanted me to go to college." He looked down at the ice while he said it.
"That's sounds like a good thing to me. You know, going after what can feed you. You have a wise old man there." She jabbed him.
"It wasn't beautiful, I was seventeen and on a roll, it doesn't matter anyway, nothing I do pleases him, ever since, he has seen me as a failure. I've tried so hard to live my life as society deems best, but he just doesn't see me the same after my rebellious streak and now I no longer care about his opinion. Which makes matters worse." He laughed, a painful cynical laugh.
They went around the ring a few more times before a group of college kids bust through the door and the vibe was lost. Jake inched closer to Katie and took her small smooth hand into his and led her out of the ring.
"What else do you wanna do, Katie." Katie felt her palms perspirate, it was like he was f*****g her with her name. She wished he'd call her more often.
"I was hoping to go biking a little today too. Look outside town abit, just an aimless stroll, to the trails."
"Give me your keys, I'd like to drive." Jake smiled as he caught the keys mid air and Katie couldn't help the pitapata of her heart. He was quite playful too, even if he didn't know it yet. Katie cycled to the passenger side and let herself in. Their drive this time wasn't silent, they talked about ice skating and the routes they'll take that afternoon, they talked about where to get lunch that day, and made plans for the evening.
Jake informed Katie of his one hour detour to heed his father's call and to rush home to pick a change of clothes. Despite having no problem with that she had some reservations about it. What if it created a pattern and he soon will have a drawer in her closet. She couldn't let that happen. She vowed to never be under a man ever again, she had done it and had been scarred in many ways than just a broken heart.
