After the Banquet was over, I went with Evelyn to her room to have some girl time. I left Jacob to discuss with the elders about his new duties.
As for that bible given to me by that Priest, I had decided to start checking it out mostly out of curiosity. It was weirdly interesting with all these stories of humans and miracles being done for them by their Creator.
"I'm so happy for you and now we get to be sisters." Evelyn started saying to me.
"Me too." I said to her and also proud to know that even though her family was killed by vampires, she still accepted me.
She made popcorn and we started watching a movie called underworld: Awakening. It was all Evelyn's idea not mine to watch a vampire movie while we lay in bed surrounded by junk food.
