4.30 a.m

Narens alarm rings as his mother and other family members get ready for his wedding. Hes confused whether to go on with the wedding or to just back his bags and run away. As he closes his eyes he remembers his grandfathers last words to him .

Dammit you old man got me trapped in this mess and I bet u are happily smiling up there. Its all because of you Im tolerating this utter s**t. I promise to marry your long lost friend's daughter but not that I'll accept her as my wife.

He was least interested in this wedding. For him its just like a childs play.

Flashback:

Naren had suffered from a horrible heart break and lost interest in all love and anything connected to it. Few months back his grandfather had a major heart attack and when he was breathing his last breath, he asked Naren to promise him that he would get married to his best friend's daughter. Little did Naren know that his parents Mahalakshmi and Prabu had forced Naren's grandfather to make their son agree to the marriage.

This proposal would be an awesome opportunity for both the families, business wise said Maha.

It would be a great deal. We could prosper even more answered Prabu.

The only way your son would listen is if his grandfather tells him to do so. First we have to brain wash your fathers mind said Maha.

Prabu agreed.

They both entered the hospital ward where Naren's grandfather was struggling between life and death. They had put a pathetic front and somehow convinced him to brain wash Naren.

"Naren, I know my time has come. I have seen everything in this world, how I wish I could witness your wedding. Theres one thing I want you to promise me before I die" said his grandfather.

"Tata you will be fine. The doctor said there is nothing to worry about". Naren replied.

"No Naren. I need you to PROMISE upon me. "

"Okay tata anything for you . You first relax. " said Naren.

His grandfather brought together all his strength and told.

"Naren there is a girl from our village. She works in Hyderabad only. And she runs her fathers company successfully. Shes very beautiful and she would be suitable for our family."

Naren retreated his hand from his grandfathers hand. He thought to himself.

"What the bloody hell is going on. I cant get married to an unknown woman and worst of all I have lost believe in all this rubbish. How am I to say NO to a dying man? How am I to say YES?"

His grandfather FORCED him to make the promise and as he loved his grandfather so dearly,he accepted the promise confessed.

As he held his tata's hand and promised him, he felt his granddad getting cold and he rushed to call the doctors. Before the doctors got to him, he was no longer breathing.

His parents was delighted because along with the marriage proposal came a huge contract in with both the big companies were going to merge.

As the funeral rites were going on. Naren remembered his promise to his grandfather and told himself that he has to fulfill his grandfathers vow.

FLASHBACK ENDS.

the groom stares at the mirror finding himself in the most horrible predictment ever.. he was dressed fully as a groom could be and he couldnt bare the teases of his aunties and cousins were doing on him.

He reminded himself "Naren all women are witches and they dont deserve you or your love. You are just fulfilling your granddad's vow.THATS ALL..and remember not to let THAT WOMAN into your life."

Shot Two:

Just a few miles from the groom's house. Stood a bride with the exact emotions as the groom. She was distorted, lost and had no idea where her life was leading. She was to marry a guy whom she hardly knew and was about to finalise the huge contract which was between her parents and the grooms parents. She struggled hard in bringing her dads company to South India's top 10 companies and she wasn't about to give them all up to this unknown guy and his family. A tear drop streamed down from her eyes as she thought herself to be a mere asset to her parents and nothing more. The only love she ever got was from her grandmother whom she was taking along with her to her groom's house.

She stood motionless as the bridal staffs got her ready for the big day.

The wedding was a secret affair and it was only witnessed by close family members and friends. Both the bride and groom were firm with that, they both weren't ready to tell the world they life in that they were married. For both of them this was just a huge business deal and it had to be confidential.

Naina told herself as they were getting her ready.

Be strong Naina, you have seen worse in life. This too shall past. You must only focus on your career, you already know your love life has ended and there's no room for anyone else.
