THE TRUE BAD APPLE!

Lilith could see how uncomfortable the little boy was. It was as if he changed in matter of some minutes from being brave to scared. She was sorry that she got carried away by the man's sexy and smart appearance. She carried Helio up in her arms, he wrapped his hands around her shoulders and rested his head around her nape. She smiled at the man brightly revealing her pretty dimples to him she said;

"It was nice meeting you! sir, but I and Helio must be on our way" he was carried away by her captivating amber eyes and her beautiful wavy long hair that he was only able to say;

"Kaden! Call me Kaden," some people around turned to look in their direction after he called out his name. Lilith replied him gleefully;

"Call me Lilith!" she turned away and walked away with the child in her arms. She felt the child trembling and she was also afraid but she knew better than to show him her fear. All she thought about was 'if this brave boy is afraid of this man there must be something up'. when they were further away Helio said under his voice;

"Now! that's the true bad apple." She fell silent at his remark and continued walking.

Unknowingly to them there was somebody in the atmosphere with his wings spread looking down at them from where he was hanging in the air. He wasn't looking pleased with what had just happened. He followed Lilith and the boy as they made their way to her apartment.

At their arrival Lilith laid the sleeping boy on her bed and patted him lightly;

"Helio! call your mother and tell her where you are, so that she wouldn't be worried" he turned his head to the other side and grumbled under his;

Let me be I want to sleep lady!" Lilith smiled and said to him in a serious tone;

"I don't want to go to prison on the basis of bringing a strange kid home without informing his family… come to think about it, how did you end up here again?" Helio chuckled and said;

"Don't worry, my uncle knows I am here! I could sense him in the crowd, besides I told my mum I am with you …" he took out the latest model of Samsung from his pocket and showed her the text he sent to his mother. Lilith exhaled wagged her head saying;

"Naughty! Naughty! Little boy." He crawled out of the bed asked;

"I want ice-cream fraidy cat" he mocked her playfully. She snorted with laughter and said;

"You better run you mischievous little one because if I catch you I will tickle you senselessly" He ran into the living room and heed behind the couch and Lilith smiled as she hurriedly followed him. she was happy as she played with the little boy because throughout the day despite spending the whole evening with him she considered him a little man not a kid. But this boy running around was the sweet little child she wanted to see all along and she was grateful he showed this side of himself to her.

Lucian arrived home in the early mornings. He was furious. If there was one thing Lucian couldn't stand it was betrayal and he felt it deep in his heart when he saw Kaden in the night. When he saw him he instantly suspected his sister to be the one who awakened him.

It took him all the restrain he could muster up in the world for him not fly that very night and put her to sleep for at least a century. At his arrival he strides hurriedly to Kathy's room. He flung the door open and at that moment he didn't know how to react when he saw her sitting unbothered by his presence and as usual. She was in front of the dressing mirror, staring at herself and applying fragrance to some parts of her body with care.

'The nerve of the frigging Narcissist' he murmured to himself.  She finally turned to look at him after tuning in to his murmurs. She saw that he was fuming with anger and she became fretful.

Lucian managed a fake contemptuous smile when she turned her attention to him, even at that he was still furious, he just wanted to break something or drain someone dry of their blood at that point. He made a fist as he glared at her with a deathly stare on his face. He outfaced her looking intently into her eyes about everything that was happening;

"What is the problem Lucian?"

He was so mad at her that his eyes changed from sea green to glowing silver. She stood up and looked at him unfazed by his change of appearance, then he said to her;

"What did you do?" his voice was firm and it reverberated in the whole mansion. looking into his eyes with no fear she said;

"Do what? What do you mean?" she asked sincerely and almost concerned about his sudden change of his mood.

"Don't answer my questions with other questions!" came his authoritative response. He strides to her dressing table and picked up one of her perfume and smashed it on the wall. She smiled at his reaction and said;

"I must have really stepped on the wrong foot this time around for you to smash my Gardenia CHANEL PERFUM directly from Paris on the wall just like that." She chuckled then she said in a honeyed tone;

"So then, dear brother, tell me! why you are furious with me and why your eyes are glowing like you want to kill me right now, she said to him calmly with a smile that was pricking Lucian's heart over and over again. The fact that she was carefree and unbothered about what was happening to him broke his heart, he wanted to let out his frustration on the sister that didn't give a damned about her brother.

"I know you don't like me sister! but why did you wake brother from his slumber punishment?" her eye widened in shock as she looked at him surprised and made googly eyes at him in disbelief. She gulped and answered him hurriedly.

"I didn't, okay!" her face suddenly changed from smiling to looking confused. She didn't play around with him as usual, before giving him a response. which made him more suspicious that she might be hiding something from him. she grabbed her purse swiftly from her bed and said;

"I will be taking Helio on a vacation to Texas! We will be staying there for a while" she tipped toed and gave him a peck and a hug, then hurriedly, she walked to her door, she was about to wave her wand on it to make it into a portal when Lucian grabbed her hands and said;

"Little sister what are you hiding from me?" she struggled and freed herself from his grasp by using her wand on him to give him a brain shock. Brain shock always felt like electrocution directly in the head. Lucian held his head with one hand and looked at her. She said to him in a warning tone; 

"Don't bother me! Go handle your nemesis instead of hovering over me" she was about to jump into the portal when another hand took hold of her shoulders and flinged her on the bed. She was confused and started looking around to figure out what had just happened when she heard Kaden's Malicious voice piercing through her ears with memories of what she had done to him.

"Why the haste little sister? Uhm… and the bad apple!"  His masculine voice reverberated in Katherine's room. She reflexively flinged her purse to the wall and turned to look at Kaden.  Her heart was beating loud and Lucian could hear it. He looked at her puzzled for a while. Then he figured, she must have done something wrong for her to be that frightened of Kaden at the moment. Her 'to go for' brother that she loves whole heartedly.

"So! The queen of the family finally awakens! It took you so long that I started growing bored without your presence" Said Lucian in mockery of him. As he cackled and clapped his hands.

"I have warned you not to call me that ever again call me a demi king instead." He warned Lucian seriously, but shortly afterward he started laughing Maliciously;

"Besides this time around you have no one in your defense and by the time I am done with you, not even a pawn will you be called be called but a corpse. He took out an alicorn that seemed to have been deepened inside a linden sap. Lucian could perceive it from where he stood. He prepared his stance as if he was ready for a fight, but the moment Kaden came charging at him, he spreads his wings and swiftly grabbed Kathy and flew away with her superfast before Kaden could even realize it. He was left fuming at the fast trick the so called bad Apple played at him.

At their arrival at the hide out Kathy dug her nails into her thick silky hair in frustration. As she walked into the living room looking confused and helpless. She slumped into the sofa and buried her face in her palms and said;

"I can sense her!" Lucian looked confused because of her remarks. He glowered at her and asked;

"Who?" she swallowed hard before she answered. Meanwhile fear was evident in her eyes with the way she was acting;

"Mother!" the place grew silent as they exchanged looks with each other.
