Lilith couldn’t stop looking at the dreamy man standing before her. His eye glittered with emotions untold. They were piercing through her soul searching for something deeper than words. The way he looked at her was different. It was as if he was looking at a priceless precious treasure.
‘He is definitely looking very handsome tonight. Even I can’t believe that he is that troublesome man that is always on my case. That tuxedo he is wearing makes him look like a prince.’ Lilith raised her eyes to look at Lucian as his hands gradually moved about her waist to draw her closer to him. His eyes were the brightest sea green she had ever seen. She immediately got lost in his endearing gaze.
Lucian roamed about her bare back with his hands and felt the tenderness of her skin. He just couldn’t look away from her captivating eyes as they were dancing;
“You always look beautiful, but today you look exceptionally beautiful” she smiled and her dimples pronounced. the lights were focused on the two as they danced in the hall. All eyes were on them. Everyone present there had their opinion about the two.
“You look really handsome as always.” Lilith complimented him. He shot her a light smile and said;
“More handsome than the guy you are with the other night at the eatery?” he asked with a glint of jealousy in his eyes.
“Is that jealousy I sense?” Lilith prodded him.
“Not at all I just want to know how handsome I am to you.” Lucian replied her with an honest voice.
“You have really beautiful eyes and you are handsome too but I am not certain how beautiful you are here” she touched his chest with her palms indicating his heart and he placed his palms over hers and held it tightly against his rib cage.
Looking into her captivating amber eyes he asked her lovingly;
“What do you think?” she was quiet, when suddenly the song went silent and the dance was over. He held her hand and led her to the cocktail table.
They both filled their wine glasses and he asked her in a husky tone;
“Would you like to go to the garden with me it’s more quite?” As they were going out through a different door the Baldovino’s were coming in. They missed each other by chance.
The garden was very beautiful and the ambiance was filled with nature’s music. The wind was blowing, the crickets and fire flies made beautiful sounds that made the two elated.
“So tell me Miss Lilith why did you decide to be a Psychologist?” Lucian prodded.
“When I was young I thought being a psychologist will reduce my chances of being used by people, oh but how greatly wrong I was… I was naïve if I may say so myself” She answered him looking lost in her thoughts. He chuckled at her reply and she joined him to chuckle as well.
“You know life is full of irony I have come to realize this myself, when you think you are good there is always someone out there that’s better than you even with all your qualifications.” He answered her.
Lucian looked worried for her. He remembered when she said to him in a bit of anger that her mother abandoned her at the Orphanage without even looking back. He suddenly felt really sad for her and drawing her into a brief warm embrace. She smiled warmly and hugged him back.
“I don’t doubt that!” she answered him after a long sigh.
“So tell me what is your qualification after living for such a long time on earth?” she smirked.
“Oh I qualify in a lot of things, but you have to specify to get a correct answer.” He teased her and she quickly asked.
“Luckily I am free and I am willing to listen so tell me.” She looked into his eyes expectantly.
“Well I am a natural born womanizer!” Lilith raised her browse and quickly replied him saying
“I meant workwise not that!” she pouts and he quickly apologize with a light voice;
“Sorry! Sorry! Well I did tell you to specify didn’t I? but if that’s the case. I will love to tell you all about my qualifications workwise while showing you pictures of me back then, so if you don’t mind let’s make it a date!”
She smiled as she paired into his eyes. Lucian moved closer to her and drew her into his arms. He took a heave of her scent. And looking into her eyes with desire for a while, he trailed her nose lightly with the tip of his nose and they synchronized their breath. He teased her lips by kissing her lightly before he consumed her lips in a deep passionate kiss.

Helio was at the party playing around when he felt a tap on his shoulders. Turning around he saw Felix smiling at him;
“Hey tiny when did you arrive I didn’t even notice your presence.” Helio asked him enthused.
“I have been here for a while with my dad!” Helios’s heart started drumming against his ribcage. He turned away saying;
“Tiny I have to go I am busy running errands for uncle Lucian.”
“Alright Helio, I thought you would dance with me for a while but since you are so busy goodbye!” he pouts and leaves there.
“Oh boy! What is wrong with him, he just doesn’t understand the dilemma at hand!” Helio walks away from there.

Since Lucian suspected that there was something up with the Baldovino’s, he sent his minions to keep an eye on their mansion. But since he sent them he hasn’t received any update from them and he was growing weary by the minutes.
Although he was with Lilith, his mind was absent. He was busy contemplating what the Baldovino’s were scheming at the moment. Lucian was certain that whatever they were planning was not against any of his family member but only against Lilith.
Lucian sensed Helix’s presence and Felix, but couldn’t sense the other Baldovino’s presence around. He looked around using his side view. Meanwhile Lilith tightened her hold around his hands with her eyes fixated on his she said;
“Do you want to know a secret?” she smiled widely and didn’t even wait for him to reply, since he was gazing at her. she said under her voice;
“I Love your wings! They are so beautiful.” Lucian remained silent he was awestruck by her sudden comments on his wings. He searched her eyes to see if she was lying to him or not, for in all of Lucian’s life no one has ever liked his wings, nor talked so lovingly like she just did. He laughed silently and said to her cheerily;
“Would you love to go for a flight with me this night?” her eyes were suddenly wide opened in surprise;
“Really?” he nodded his head.
“Alright let’s go!” she swiftly hugged him tightly. He was caught off guard and surprised by her sudden action. When he didn’t do anything, she blushed and removed her hands from around him instantly. He smiled and carried her princess style in his arms and flew into the sky with her. Lilith was so happy that she wrapped her arms around him and buried her face in his nape. Even though Lucian was happy, he was still worried for what might happen.
Little did Lucian know that there was a spy amongst the guess keeping an eye on them. The moment he flew away the spy gave his report to Helix. In turn Helix immediately called members of the Vino’s club to get prepared. While he sent a messages to the other members of the Vino’s cult saying;
“Station yourselves at the garden and watch out for when he lands together with the girl. I want no mistakes I hope you carry out the plan here accordingly.” The members of the Vino’s cult went to hide themselves at the garden after receiving the message. Meanwhile the party was going on.
Since Lucian was up in the sky together with Lilith, his canny mind was restless. He couldn’t say what Helix was thinking and he had no way of knowing what he was scheming. Ever since he went to their mansion, he knew something was wrong just by seeing little Helio looking scared like he did at the mansion. He knew he had to think of an alternative way to protect Lilith no matter what. In his haze of thoughts Lucian felt Lilith’s tender fingers caressing his cheeks;
“Although you are here with me, I can tell your mind is far away from here, what gives Lucian?” He was shocked at how aware she was of his every hidden feeling. He shot her a cunning smile and winked at her. Then he asked;
“You know I was thinking of something really funny!”
They locked eyes as she was looking at the man confused by his sudden statement.
“And what’s that?” He smiled lightly, but Lilith could see how pained he was. His eyes looked sad, they weren’t as bright as they were before. He answered her with a dark look on his face;
“When a man learns to love he must bear the risk of hatred!” Lilith was completely lost by his words. She looked at him in the eye for some time and sighed. Then as if she was trying to answer him in her own way she said to;
“Yet when you realize that your ego has caused your love to vanish it’s always the most painful experience!”
