HIS DETERMINATION!

Lucian was in his room together with some to men stylist and Argo. The stylists were busy trying to see that the tuxedo fits him perfectly, when Lucian felt a sudden power left his body. He opened his eyes, which turned flaming red for a while with burning fury in them. A force filled with power came off his body and pushed the stylist and Argo against the wall. Lucian held his head with one hand and looked at Argo saying;

“I felt power left my body… a member of this family just got promoted to night” Lucian exchanged looks with Argo.

“It is definitely not Kathy” Argo suggested and Lucian replied him saying;

“And definitely not Sam nor Jaden! …” both stood quiet for a while before a thought flashed in Lucian’s Mind and he remembered Helio.

“Helio!” he screamed and ran out of the room like a flash of lightening. Argo was left with the stylist. He dismissed them and ordered them to return with the tuxedo perfected in an hours’ time. After they left he ran after Lucian.

Meanwhile Lucian had already arrived at the Baldovino’s mansion where he felt Helio’s Aura emitting from. He surveyed the whole environment with his eyes before he walked to the front door. As he stood in front of the door he knocked like a gentle man and waits for a reply;

“I am coming!” answered a small voice. Felix hurried to the door and opened it. The moment he saw Lucian he ran and gave him a hug saying;

“Lord Lucian!” Lucian smiled at him widely and said to him

“Hello Tiny!” Lucian winked at him and Tiny complained;

“Lord Lucian I am a big boy now why do you still call me Tiny?” he pouts and turns his face away, pretending to be angry.

“Oh alright I won’t call you that again Felix” Felix smiled and invited Lucian into the Vino’s mansion. After Lucian made himself comfortable, he asked;

“Hey I would like to see Helio!” Lucian asked the kid with a smiling face

“Oh alright give me some time because I would have to look for him. we were playing when he went missing in the house, but I guess he is in one of the rooms.” Felix ran to go look for Helio, Leaving behind Lucian in the sitting room.

 Lucian crossed his legs and rested his head on his knuckles and closed his eyes. He listened to every living vibration in the house until he found Helios’s particular vibration. He opened his eyes.

As Helio attempted to leave the dark room he perceived someone’s presence. He froze in place, he remained still and almost breathless when he heard a loud masculine voice reverberate in the dark room, his heart beat started racing;

“Helio!” the voice called out. He immediately turned to see who it was but couldn’t. the voice called out again and Helio turned in circles trying to find who it was that called him, but he couldn’t find the person.

“This has nothing to do with you young one! This is a fight amongst members of the round table. Now it will do you good if keep silent about everything you have heard here

“But-but- but I haven’t heard anything!” he tried to pretend but unknowingly to him from the very moment, he opened the door they were aware of his presence.”

Good! Let it be as you have said!” he suddenly felt a hand placed around his shoulders leading him towards the door. The man opened the door and went outside with him. Helio raised his head to see that the person with him was Felix father. He exhaled for a while and panicked at the realization that his friend’s father could be amongst those men. They met with Felix along the way and yelled;

There you are! I have been looking everywhere for you, come now your uncle is waiting for you in the sitting room. Felix dragged Helio and led him to the sitting room with his father walking behind them. Lucian was still seated waiting for Helio. When he perceived Helios’s presence and also an old acquaintance presence, he opened his eyes and Lucian said;

“Long time old friend!” Lucian smiled lightly at him. he sighed at the sight of Helix’s smug look.

“Helix! Still the same old egoist I can tell” they both chuckled and Helix gave him a hug;

“Long time man haven’t seen you in ages what have you been up to!”

“I traveled to Africa for a while but I am back now!”

“Hope you won’t be living back for Africa anytime soon!” Lucian shot him a mischievous smirk

“Hopefully I won’t, I guess, that is if I can get my mind off the pretty ladies there.” They both chuckled. Lucian raised his browse and talked to himself Mentally. He recalled how Helix is with women, he wagged his head;

‘Old senile geezer! He is always after everything with great volume behind and in front.’ Lucian got distracted by Helios’s intense stare;

It was nice meeting you after a very long time, by the way I had no idea that tiny Felix is your son, he doesn’t look like you at all” Felix buried his face in his palms as he listened to his father’s reply;

“He got his looks from his mother!... Although I wish he looked even a little like me” Lucian tilted his head to side and lifted his browse up and said;

“No wonder he got killer looks! He looks just like his mother” they both chuckled and Lucian waved him good bye.

   Lucian opened his arms to Helio and Helio ran to meet his uncle. He embraced him and Lucian carried him up in one arm. Helio had his hands around Lucian’s neck and buried his face in Lucians nape. He avoided any eye contact with Helix and simply waved goodbye to Felix. They left the mansion right after that and went home. All through the way back home Helio didn’t say a word to Lucian, which was very unusual. Lucian didn’t bother him about it either. He just remained silent and continued observing Helio from time to time.

At their arrival Lucian dropped Helio and he immediately started running for his room when Lucian moved in the speed of light to stand right in front of him, making him bump his head on Lucian’s abs. He raised his eyes to meet Lucian’s questioning stare;

“What happened there at the Vino’s mansion kiddo?

“Nothing!” he said

“Keep lying and I will smack you!” the place was silent for a while, he thought to himself; if I lie to uncle he would know, but if I tell the truth they will know. I just hope uncle understands me when I talk to him’ before he answered finally;

“Felix bested me in a dual.” Which was true but the least of Helio’s problems. He bends his head sadly. Lucian looked at him and wagged his head

“If that’s the case you shouldn’t be angry rather, train hard” Lucian looked at him contemplatively and watched his mannerisms as he answered.

“I know and that’s why I want to ask you to train me hard again!” Lucian tilted his head sadly, he wondered; ‘I see! I have got to keep an eye on the Vino’s’ after a while he answered.

“Alright! You may go up now!” Helio ran upstairs and locked himself up in the room. He scurried to his bed and buried his face in his pillow and cried.

People were gathered at the Draco’s exquisite hall at the town’s garden. The trees and flowers were decorated with pretty little light bulbs. And from the trees hung star like lights like chandeliers. A red carpet was laid from the entrance of the garden to the hall, glowing petals where laid by the side of the carpet, all the way to the entrance. The ambiance felt like fairytale, it was so magical with the lights glittering in the dark.

While people were conversing inside the hall and outside the hall at the garden, a limousine stopped by the entrance of the garden. Lilith looked around her in awe. She was left agape at the magnificent sight before her. Everything was magically beautiful.

It was like a fairytale she thought. For never in her life has she ever thought of a day as dreamy like this one. Two men dressed in black suits came down from the car and opened the door for her. Her eyes caught the beautiful light butterflies hanging from the trees and flowers. It felt to her like she was dreaming, it was so magical. 

The people around caught sight of her and they thought her to be the most beautiful girl ever. Her hair was parked in a loose bun. Beautiful hair accessories made of diamonds were attached to her hair which glittered under the light. Some strands of her curly hair fell gracefully by the sides of her temples. She was wearing a striking red lipstick; her make-up was light, and her beautiful smooth skin was glowing under the light.

As she moved further into the hall, everyone turned to look at her. She was wearing a maroon off shoulder ball gown with tiny little stones on them that glowed under the light. It was a mermaid shaped flowing gown which accentuated her shape and it was backless. Her milky beautiful back could be seen, which earned a lot of admiration from both men and women. She was looking so graceful.

Lucian was standing and conversing with some men when he caught sight of her. He stuttered before those men and was at a loss for words. His legs moved on their own and before he could even realize it he was standing in front of her and extending his hands to her;

“May I have this dance beauty!” the words left his mouth like it was magic.
