BRAVE HEART!

Ever since Lucian left along with Helio, Lilith felt like a part of her was gone, she was lonely and finally decided sometime back to find herself a part-time job as a psychologist. She had applied for a job at the Olive-care mental health clinic, some weeks back and has since then been waiting for their call. On a sunny Sunday she decided to go for an ice cream at the park. At her arrival there she took quick steps to where the ice cream kiosk was and got herself, her favorite ice-cream flavor vanilla. She sat under a tree with her jotter by her side taking ice-cream and writing random ideas for her book.

While she was enjoying her ice cream she felt a light pat on the back, when she turned to see who it was, she skipped with fear and her ice-cream fell to the ground. She was annoyed but immediately pretends in front of the man as if she wasn’t. she turned to him with a fake smile on her face;

“Hello mister.” She said, Kaden wagged his head and asked her with a smirk on his face;

“Don’t you remember my name?” she looked at him and cracked her brain trying to remember his name but couldn’t so she resolved and said;

“You are Helios’s uncle right?” he smiled and said; “That’s right! But that’s not my name” she smiled and replied;

“You Figured!” he smiled again and she said;

“I am sorry I forgot your name can you tell me again!” she asked, he smiled and said

“Lilith perhaps you would remember my Name if you ask around about the New king from the Draco’s” he walked away after taking her hands in his and kissing her pretty fingers. She was yet again left astounded and asking herself.

 ‘What is it with the Draco’s and attitude, for goodness sake did they discover the word Attitude?’ she wagged her head and picked up the cup of ice cream from the ground and trashed it.

“Frigging Narcissist!” she took slow strides in the park and met with Argo along the way. She smiled at him and said;

“My missing tour guide I have been trying to reach out to you for some time now but I couldn’t” she pouted as she complained, he looked at her with creased browse saying;

“I remember quiet well that you have been having the time of your life with Helio that little weasel.” He said with a little lightness of laughter in his voice.

“How did you know?” she was surprised that he knew about her movement with little Helio ‘but how!’ she asked herself inwardly.

“It’s a small town my lady” he smiled gleefully at her. Looking at her quizzically he asked again;

“I am sorry to bug you on your afternoon stroll but when last did you see little Helio and Lucian?” Her eyes widened with fear and surprise as she started attacking him with questions;

“Are they fine? Did anything happen to them? Tell me how can I help?”

Don’t worry I am sure they went on a trip! I just haven’t seen them that’s why!” Lilith could see right through his lie. She got angry and yelled at him;

“You are lying to me!” he twitched in surprise. He looked at her and wondered how possible it was for a mare human to break through his hypnotic defenses. He couldn’t look away for a while, as he was really conscious at the moment and slightly confused. He managed and said to her;

“If you don’t believe me I will get him to come visit you once he returns. By the way Lilith, I have some work. I’ll see you some other time!” he walked away swiftly from there. Lilith was left to her thoughts as she resigned praying for little Helio and Lucian in her mind.

Lucian opened his eyes and he was tied right beside his brother Jaden. He was overjoyed as he threw himself onto his brother, Jaden instantly fell and murmured; brother can’t you see I am weakened! I am happy to see you but, not in this condition.

 Lucian released himself and bite on one of his fingers until it was bleeding he gave it to his brother to take. (Lucians blood has healing properties but only if he desires for it to be used for healing. Otherwise when taken against his will, it kills the person instantly who dares to take it from him against his will.) After a while Jaden was doing okay. Jaden quickly told Lucian everything he learnt that their mother was alive but not in her body. Lucian creased his browse and said;

“I figured and I might know who that person is” Jaden looked at him anxiously awaiting him to tell him who that person is.

Alisha was seated comfortably on Vlad’s armchair in the sitting room with her legs crossed and Kathy bounded in chains together with little Helio. Kathy grumble to herself in annoyance;

“I never liked that b***h! Now I know why!” Kathy complained on her knees. Alisha kicked her with her heels in anger and Kathy said;

“Couldn’t remain forever young so you possessed this young woman’s body right?” she mocked her mother and prodded her further to fury;

“What happened to, I turned my children to monsters now they are destroying other people’s lives? What are you doing now mother?” she looked at her mother questionably.

“I am just borrowing this lady’s body and once I make sure that you and your brothers are no longer the children of darkness, so called undead I will return to the afterlife and remain with my kinds there happily knowing I have corrected my mistakes.” She explained honestly to Kathy. Helio had been staring at her for a long time in disgust when he could no longer take her rambling, he yelled;

“You are a shame to all the other grandmother’s around the world” Kathy’s mother creased her brows in anger and Kathy shoved the little boy behind her back. She smiled evilly and said;

“Why don’t I start with this little one first” seeing that her mother was being serious she chanted a spell that threw her against the wall. She got back up again from the ground and turned her neck sideways to adjust the bones in her neck. She was about to make another move when two voices reverberated;

“I command you to stay away from here!” came Samaria’s voice. She ignored him and went inside. Looking at the crazy woman she used to call mother, she called her by her name angrily;

“Eve! one more move against my sister and son and you will realize that you are a fool.” She warned her seriously and Eve stood still observing her carefully.

“Daughter this is not what you want! Trust me, this is all wrong, she said to Samaria in a convincing tone.” Samaria rolled her eyes at her and said;

“How would you know what I want and what I don’t when you have never invested in any part of my life.” The place grew silent.

Lilith visited the Saint Peter’s catholic church for the first time for a brief study of the place and she was aghast as she suddenly felt fear and terror emanating from within the church. She became confused and restless as she started shouting and calling out for somebody anybody;

“Hello! Anybody here! I have some questions about the church.” She suddenly felt a voice inside her head say;

“I am here!” the voice was quiet and soothing still she was frightened to her core.

   It had to be the most deceitful voice ever’ a part of her warned her not to go any closer to the attic, but regardless of the warnings she followed the voice in her head. The voice cooed her and led her to the attic. She was lost in her thoughts as she stood in front of the door. Why would a voice lead me here? Should I run? ‘Even if I wanted to take for my heels, my body will not listen to me.’ she contemplated a little but finally made up her mind and opened the door.

She was met by a horrific scene there. The familiar man in front of her was covered in blood. ‘It’s Lucian’ she said to herself. She was puzzled and her eyes widened in fear and shock ‘So! He was abducted? Who would have done this to him’ she asked herself mentally before she finally caught a glimpse of a white looking wood pierced into his heart! It looked like a unicorn’s horn, ‘but then, could it be?’ She asked herself again Blood was dripping from his chest and he was also pinned to the wall by a chain of roses and thorns binding him to the wall. His blood was dripping on the floor and his face was pale. She grimaces at the painful sight, but the man was unfazed. It was as if he wasn’t going through any pain. He looked at her with his sea green eyes and said;

“Lady! Would you be kind enough to release that man first.” He smirked at her. Meanwhile, she trembled at the sight she had just seen with her eyes. When she turned gradually to see the man pointed at by Lucian, she was awfully pained in her heart the strange man was tied up by a regular rope, but it was soaked in something that was obviously hurting him. it must be acid she thought to herself. As his skin was continuously peeling. She quickly loosened him up without asking him about it, as she could see that the man was in pain. The moment Jaden was free he stretched his body and hurriedly freed his brother.

Lucian turned to look at the lady whom he hypnotized hiding by the corner, he had commanded her to hide there in order not to distract his mind control on Lilith. He grabbed her neck and just when he was about to break it, Jaden stopped him. Lilith was terrified at the sight of what Lucian was doing to the extent that she couldn’t feel her legs anymore;

“Aww sweet heart, don’t be frightened.”
